? Sorry - I have no idea how to make this compatible with DEI, don't have it.

Is there a chance you could make a DEI-compatible version of this mod? I love DEI, but I'm desperate for a change in pace for the game, and I'm having trouble enjoying the other factions as much as I've enjoyed Rome.

Please do Carthage in Britain.

Lord_of_the_Sky - If you have other mods selected, they may be interfering - especially if they have startpos changes such as DEI, Radious or turn per year mods.
Crewes Missile  [author] 14 Nov, 2017 @ 9:24am
Lord_of_the_Sky - the Romans have always been in Britain in this mod, with Iceni in Italy.
The Rome faction map (showing Britain) did not show until I made a minor update the other day.

However, I did notice the Victory Conditions were not showing after that. I have re-assembled the mod and updated today.
Please let me know if you still have a problem.

To ensure you are playing the latest update you may need to delete the mod and then re-subscribe. The game will usually update the mod for you, but not sure how long it takes to do that.

The mod changed objectives and renamed the city of Rome, but Rome and Etruscans are still in Italy? Bugged?

Just downloaded this as my first mod. I finally have a computer that will run Rome II, and I hope I don't make too much of a mess of it. Pretty sure I will die horribly many times, though. Cheers.

I am really pleased that this mod is being enjoyed by so many. I have only been modding for 2 months and I just created it as a challenge for myself.
Moving Rome and the Etruscans reinvigorated the game for me, a new set of problems compared to the vanilla game + it added a bit of extra spice.

and iron ?
Nero 2 Oct, 2017 @ 9:46am
...and here I am sitting wondering what else this mod changes that makes it apparently incompatible with everything...

It does work alone thou and its fun!

Reminds me of that lost legion mod, that mod was great.
Nero 1 Oct, 2017 @ 7:11pm
Very cool, would love to see more mods like this.

Crewes - i have no issuebeating rome. its just that i yearn/crave a new start pos for etrusca that adds some replayability to the faction. but sadly the faction unlock doesnt work with the Grand campaign shuffle. so i was hoping this would allow me to play as the etruscans in britain (its my favorite startpos) but after a few tests those two mods of yours sadly arent compatable :(
Crewes Missile  [author] 1 Oct, 2017 @ 7:32am
White Squall - I have one other mod uploaded called Etruscan League, which gives the Etruscans a fair chance of beating Rome, have you tried that?
Alexander Rahl 1 Oct, 2017 @ 7:16am
Does this unlock Etrusca as a faction? ive always wanted to play them on the ROME campaign but after your first play as them it becomes very predictable. ( Rome almost always attacks you in the first 3 turns and almost always at Velathri. ) And that battle is a little played out for me by now lol

ohhhhhhh YAHHHHHHHHHH
Demetrios 29 Sep, 2017 @ 8:42am
Please do carthage in britain I've always wanted a game where I can be in a small island and invade everything with a overpowered navy and shit army
General Brooks 29 Sep, 2017 @ 6:25am
All empires fall eventually, the US will too sooner or later. What matters is how great it was when it was around, and for that Britain wins :)
Crewes Missile  [author] 29 Sep, 2017 @ 4:09am
Tallestdavid - No the British do not wish that Rome came from Britain.
Britain had its own empire, which was larger than the Roman one, and was often compared favourably in older times - but it has long gone now.
TallestDavid 28 Sep, 2017 @ 7:10pm
the british wish rome came from england. am I RIGHT?! B-)

Crewes, Thanks for sharing mod and tips on modding. Interesting idea on swapping starting position. R, Harper
Sire Chaussette Paillette 27 Sep, 2017 @ 12:06pm
Wow! Thank you very much Crewes Missile for the tutorial! It will change my life: D
Crewes Missile  [author] 27 Sep, 2017 @ 11:41am
Chaussette Paillette - this mod can be changed by you using Pack File Manager

Free download of pack file manager here:-
https://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/files/

In Pack File Manager, open the mod file - usually found here -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data

click the + for Romanis_in_Britannia.pack
then Campaigns - main_rome and then select startpos.esf

In the right window, click the + for
CAMPAIGN_STARTPOS -
COMPRESSED_DATA -
CAMPAIGN_ENV -
CAMPAIGN_MODEL -
and then select CAMPAIGN_CALENDAR

To the right, change 4 to 12 (for 12 turns per year)

Then save the pack file under a new name (otherwise it may be changed back to the downloaded file).
In Mod manager just select the new mod and deselect mine, then you can play your own mod.

Mod "Calendar Fix for 12 TPY/24 TPY" by SPC Tanto1994 will then give you the months (if needed).

You will get more satisfaction by changing the Mod yourself.
Good luck!

Crewes Missile  [author] 27 Sep, 2017 @ 6:12am
Aubreycw - I do not have Attila.
Crewes Missile  [author] 27 Sep, 2017 @ 6:12am
Mr. Snoken - I will think about your request. So far I have concentrated on new challenges for me so I can learn how to make mods.
aubreycw 26 Sep, 2017 @ 8:09pm
Hey Bro. Do you have Attila? If so....would you mind applying talent such as this to creating....a "King Arthur" mod?
TAW | Snoken 26 Sep, 2017 @ 2:43pm
could you make that Cimmeria or Massila Start in Britain ? great mod by the way!
Jorvach 26 Sep, 2017 @ 12:01am
Haven't tried it myself, but I really like mods like these, so have an upvote! :D
