I came here for the comments, I was not dissapointed xD

That aside though it looks like a pretty cool mod. It seems like a lot of really cool pony mods have been coming out lately...it just frustrates me that these mods didnt come out back when I was still really into pony stuff. For me my Brony status faded some time ago, but there is still a small twinge of affection inside me for the show, characters, and fandom that sometimes comes up whenever I see a piece of custom art or a mod for a game of mine like this one. Even though I wont be downloading it myself, I've given it an upvote.

Even though I may myself have "left the herd" per say, I hope you guys keep having fun, keeping the fandom alive, and using your uniwue talents to make things like this.

For old time's sake I'm going to do something I havent done in what feels like ages xD

Cheers /)

Best pony mod! I always play as this race. Don't mind the trolls, these kids need some special attention.
Eating Pancakes Right Now 14 Apr, 2016 @ 9:06am
Thanks for your mods. :)
StarMan_Dx  [author] 1 Apr, 2016 @ 6:21pm
Wow, AttackHelicopter, you're the most inventive of the bunch. Too bad thats the extent of that creativity. Thanks for feeding me, you enabling ass hat. Why do you have to enable people? What kind of help are you doing enabling people? Good god, you didn't have to say a single thing, but here you are enabling. You must be lonely.
Cuthbert 30 Mar, 2016 @ 7:05pm
Hey nice job feeding the trolls fuck face. Cant you ignore something instead of feeding the hate you are getting??
StarMan_Dx  [author] 30 Mar, 2016 @ 9:25am
@mrlawfer, Earth ponies grow food better than anyone else. Thats the point. That was/is their function in the show. Thats the theme. Theme comes first. If food is to be produced, they produce it better. Also, about worker speed, what does it matter if so few projects require more than 10 turns to complete (you play on normal I assume?) Faster workers means things get done quicker.
I have horses as a requirement for alot of the pony mods I've made. You need ponies to make them, and breathes life into a resource that is dead pretty early in the game. That is never going away. Also it stops you from building them in mass.
I can't create my own abilities for civ factions. They have to be present in the database. If something isn't there, I can't use it. It was true when I made these, dunno about nowadays.
I wouldn't call this one the best, or near best. It does the job. I'm actually happy how it plays in the hands of the AI, as it is very strong and dominating even though they shouldn't.
mrlawfer 28 Mar, 2016 @ 11:53am
Also, with all of the food buffs, why are the ponies starving from the blizzard? WAT.

Seriously though, this is so close to being an amazing mod!
mrlawfer 28 Mar, 2016 @ 11:51am
This would be the best brony mod out there with just a little numbers tweaking. 10% faster work speed? What's the point when so few projects require more than 10 turns? Why the stackable farm when you already have +1 from plantations? That's redundant. And why does nearly every brony mod have something to do with food? It's very hard to modify food without creating a broken civilization like this one.

I'd kill the extra movement and make the worker 25% more effective or kill the increased speed entirely and just make it move three spaces, remove the bonus to farms and plantations, and remove the horse requirement for the stackable farm.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 19 Mar, 2016 @ 8:12am
Happy I missed that one. Copy/pasta trolls are so inventive.
FIREBIRD44 9 Feb, 2016 @ 1:47pm
look at this brony faggot
StarMan_Dx  [author] 14 Jan, 2016 @ 5:46pm
You're easily offended and now a liar. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I was right about you. And *yawn*, your juvenile trolling tactics are boring.

So now you're easily offened, a liar, a cloest brony, and boring. Wow. And you came here to insult me, but yet we find out soooo much about you!
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 5:18pm
Your shame is so great you have to run. I pity you. Someday, you'll stop lying to yourself.

Oh, and step up your troll game next time, child. I'm waaaaaaaaaay out of your league. Now, go on, cry home to your daddies. Tell them that the big bay starman made you feel feelings.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 4:32pm
It must hurt, to hide what you are. No need to hide your secret shame with me. I know this facade you're presenting is just to hide the fact that, deep down inside, you like everypony.

So stop lying to yourself. Only children feel shame, so stop feeling it.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 3:18pm
And you soooooo proved it, you big mean boy you. Stop lying to yourself. Just admit it. No need to feel shame. This is what you like, its why you're here. You're a closet brony. Just admit it.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:51pm
Easily offended are you now? A www. Your obivous fail tactics won't work on me. You need to embrace your secret shame, the shame of the real reason why you came here. The secret shame that you are a... Fan. Its ok, I won't tell anyone.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:08pm
The cookie cutter is strong in you young fail troll. Your father had it. Your other father had it.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 8:59pm
And that wasn't a requirement for what I said. And I'm sure the vet's at the pound told you that. Thanks for playing, see you next time.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 8:28pm
I said not to show me how much of a cookie cutter fail troll you are. No wonder your mother left you at the pound.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 5:46pm
Do a trick! Come on, do a trick! Show me how much of a cookie cutter fail troll you are! Come on! Don't listen to the echos of your parents shame.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 2:43pm
Aaw www, look at you. You really want a home don't you, little cutie! Look at you trying soo hard! Oh you're just so cute.

StarMan_Dx  [author] 11 Aug, 2014 @ 9:05am
Did you use the ingame mod section to download, steam itself, or the link I have in the description? Sorry for the late reply.
thot excommunicator 18 Jul, 2014 @ 6:30pm
I download it dosent appear on my mods try evry thing dosent work and i have G&K
StarMan_Dx  [author] 13 Mar, 2014 @ 7:44am
If you don't have G&K it won't work, I flagged it as a require part for it.
76561198025340155 17 Feb, 2014 @ 11:09am
@StarMan_Dx Well, BNW definitely installed but as for G&K the result is inconclusive, although other G&K mods seem to work.
Doktor Vic Tim 15 Feb, 2014 @ 7:29pm
(Cont)

They're quite an unassuming civilization. Tthey look silly, but they can grow fast (especially with high difficulty AI bonuses, holy cow!). And high population = more science, money and production.

Out of the three pony factions, they're definitely the strongest. By a long shot even. Although I need to play as the Unicorns and Pegasi before I confirm this.
Doktor Vic Tim 15 Feb, 2014 @ 7:27pm
It's alright.

The Earth Ponies have tended to grown dangerously large in my games too. Maybe their UA is that powerful. After all, it's effective from the moment you improve your first non-hill (Unless said hill is next to a river and you make it a farm hill). So yeah, it could be viewed as a hidden downside.

And when I think about it, it might not be too bad of ahidden downside. The Earth Ponies can settle in the middle of a desert with no river/oasis and still grow pretty good. Them +2 farm tiles early game and +3 when Fertilizer. +3 food and +2 production from desert hil lrivers is pretty darn good too! And as previously stated, the Unique Worker is one heck of a powerful UU. It's around all the time and that extr amovepoint changes so much. And I think it might be impossible to steal as another civ since it might turn into a normal worker (Must try this to confirm).
StarMan_Dx  [author] 15 Feb, 2014 @ 11:37am
@Doktor Vic Tim, sorry for the extreme delay. I'm usually very busy. Now for your points, from last I check very long ago there isn't a flag to set the farm for the trade routes (Could be but its been ages since I've looked). I'm hesitant to fix that though as the earth ponies tend to be my final foe 90% of the time as AI, the biggest bullies I've seen and I didn't set them for that. So I probably won't fix that. The icon thing, no clue, could be a new icon slot needed or new size, dunno. I'd have to look into it. The worker thing would be a game thing I can't change. Settlers and workers are treated differently from other units (as far as I know).

@David, I have no idea why it would say that, which version are you using?
76561198025340155 20 Jan, 2014 @ 12:07pm
it keeps saying I haven't got the required dependencies but I've already installed G&K and BNW.
Doktor Vic Tim 19 Jan, 2014 @ 12:43pm
Addendum:
Once again, a fun mod, and possibly one of the literally most useful UU's out there XD. also, when you capture another worker, it becomes a Smart Cookie Farmer. Is that intended?
Doktor Vic Tim 19 Jan, 2014 @ 12:43pm
I gave this civ a try and I enjoyed it quite a lot(I'm a sucker for high populations). There were few things that seemed to be not working, and I shall list them.

1. The Stackable Farm does not allow Internal Trade Routes for Food. This takes away a powerful utility that is not mentioned. It could very well be a balance thing, but it's something that caught my eye. I would say the 1 less initial food and horse requirement might be enough balance. But then again, +13 food internal ships might just break it upside its knees.

2. This is more universal and something I've noticed in all your pony civs. In the Cultural window where you see how much tourism you've inflicted on the other civs, the civ icon for your civs shows a recoloured America icon (This is not the case with HaraldB's mods) and the same goes for the little icon in the World Congress screen next to the civ leader's name. It's trivial, but again, it caught my eye.
✚ Anajamois 15 Dec, 2013 @ 1:47pm
Starman, you don't have to apologise. This nigga looks like a fool for getting on yo ass for something that was in the show. You fucked up, Max. Go red in the face, dip your head, and back out the door.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 15 Dec, 2013 @ 9:26am
Your tone could of been nicer, especially if you were trying to be nice. I was correct in my tone defending my works. I accept your apology and understand that people make mistakes. Remember, words are weapons, be mindful of how you use them. And be mindful of the arsenal that one might have that you're firing at. I'm trying really hard to not turn this into a dick pun. Damnit! I did it.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 11 Dec, 2013 @ 8:48am
What you erroneously call 'childish' is historically accurate. How dare you accuse me of not faithfully restoring and capturing that fact when you don't have your facts straight nor know anything about anicent Equestria. Before you start condemning things perhaps you should do your home work. I did. It does wonders, like protecting you from looking like a fool.
✚ Anajamois 14 Oct, 2013 @ 11:01am
I have to say, I do love your music choices for all three of these. The somewhat tribal theme of the Earth, the aristocratic air of the Art, and the militaristic mood of the Sky. All very well chosen. Now hang on while I copy/paste this to the other two mods.
StarMan_Dx  [author] 11 Feb, 2013 @ 12:29pm
Thanks for catching that, rolling out a fix right now. I have a sneaking suspicion that that error may be present in other mods. I'll check them myself but you find it let me know.
Ultimoos 11 Feb, 2013 @ 7:29am
Easyly fixed by removing the "-" from <PopulationUnhappinessModifier>-10</PopulationUnhappinessModifier>

StarMan_Dx  [author] 10 Feb, 2013 @ 6:16pm
Thats not possible, the game doesn't track decimals, only whole numbers.
Shinskii 10 Feb, 2013 @ 4:36pm
Yup, getting only .9 unhappiness per point of population.
Ultimoos 10 Feb, 2013 @ 3:02am
Population Trait is reversed. Every point of population generates 0.9 unhappiness instead of 1.1.
