This mod is broken in version 3.14.15926 . I had to roll back to 3.14.1592 to get it to work

I wonder if there's a noob-friendly way to remove the ring graphic? The game and major mods have rings now, and this one is visual-only and collides with the working ones.

Updated for 3.10.*, there is no reason some colors work but other's don't, you might just be getting bad RNG odds. The code is identical from the previous version to this one, i just updated the version number. Working fine here.

The original blue and orange still works however none of the other graphics color work sadly. Needs an update.

@Nuadorion I've been running it constantly and had no issues whatsoever. When you're testing, make sure it's the only active mod. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod to re-download it. Also, verify Stellaris' local files through steam to make sure you don't have a corrupt file. The mod does very little at all scripting-wise, it's 90% a graphics add-on. Other than that i don't know what to tell you because it's not throwing a single error message for me, or stopping the game from loading.

Over the last couple days since the patch I have been systematically testing all of the mods I have downloaded, and this one causes the game to crash at the loading screen around 80%.

Amazing skin work (that sounds weird)! I really hope PDX will work with you and make this a real DLC. Honestly its just perfect for machine empires. We need a DLC version so we can get achievements. Great job!

why not.... I dunno, just going out on a limb with a really crazy and absolutely insane and totally out of this world idea.... load up a game with this mod active and see if it works.
