Can you make it so you can zoom in closer? Kinda like GTA China town wars I think its called.

It could be done, it just made the game controls too complex for a phone

I don't know how much people would enjoy using it, working on this "engine" is pretty difficult even for me and it gets kind of buggy and unstable if you push it, but i might consider it in the future :)

You should make this open source i bet a lot of people would enjoy looking at it

you probably have android 4.1 jellybean then, i'll try to build the game for that system too (it currently supports only android 6 and 7) ;)

There really are not a lot of tricks here, it's just a matter of trying to not break the illusion by hiding the limitations of the effect, avoiding having any compenetration between objects and fine tuning base values used for drawing ;)

It's a fun game, but I can't see the text at the bottom of the screen because my laptop's screen resolution is too low, and there is no way to change it.

To fix the bug with the GameMaker Player, update the game. You don't need to add anything new.

you have to open game maker studio here on steam, click play instead of make and then select the game you want to play from the menu that comes up ;)

Thanks for the good feedback guys! I just wanted to point out that the version of the game you can download is old and pretty broken, i'm currently developing the engine as a full fledged game to be relased on android phones for free :D

i did take inspiration from hearthbeast's tutorial for the semi 3d car drawing thing (i also tweeted the same video on this page to him to thank him and he liked the tweet lol); everything else thought was made without using any tutorial (dynamic shadows, fake 3d and car controls).

The hours on record here on steam are really not precise since i spent a long time on the non-steam version og GM:S lol.
It all might sound and look suspicious but i assure you it's not ;)

Its pretty much an exact copy of the heartbeast tutorial. Im not saying its bad to follow tutorials, but if you used one, at least credit it. (sorry if you didnt actually use it, but you have <200 hrs in gm, and its very similar, so i assume you did)
