For clothing: as long as the clothing asset as an insignia slot, you should be able to set your "insignia" via the Virtual Arsenal.

For vehicles: there's no simple way, as vehicle insigs don't behave in the same way. They're typically tied into your ArmA 3 Unit's link and/or squad XML.

The classnames of the patches would be great for applying the patches to the soldier you use. Any chance of getting them?
