If you for some reason want more pistols you can use the console command:
( additem AdventDuelistM1_Pistol_Xcom_WPN 1 ) You can make it M2 or M3 depending on the tier you want and the last number is the amount you want.

The tier 3 pistol is stronger than the Darkclaw which I find off-putting and inconsistent. Not only does it do way more damage, the Quickdraw ability makes it an absolute must-pick over what is supposed to be the strongest pistol in the game.

The duelist itself is weak and easy to dispatch; however, it has an instant kill move just like Reaper's Banish, only it lets them shoot 5 or 6 times. It costs 1 action, and can be used after moving. Thus the strategy is "kill me or I delete someone in your squad," which is not interesting or balanced.

Also, this enemy is not that strong compared to a lot of the other enemies, both vanilla and modded. They are more like advent troopers with a little extra boost. But they are still fragile and easy to take out. If you are having trouble with them alone, then there is something more to this matter than the mod. Did you buff them somehow or limit your own strengths in game?

I mean it's not for vanilla campaigns, this is for more challenging mod lists like with CX enemies.

It requires proper balancing on the user's part when creating their mod list.

I love losing a unit because I left a single alien alive while my soldier had SEVENTEEN HP AND A POINT OF ARMOR

Don't know why you decided to ruin this unit with a bs instkill ability that they can do after shooting and moving in the same turn. That's the most unblanced thing i've ever witnessed. Hope you remove it in a update or something.

I get the corpses from the soldiers in the field, but I cannot autopsy them, is it only available on a fresh start? Wouldn't want to lose my progress this far...

Great enemy for variation. Have to agree with the others tough, Fan Fire is too punishing as it is.

The Fan Fire ability is too much, generally an instant kill of the target XCOM regardless of their remaining health. Unfortunate because the earlier two variants are pretty in-line difficulty wise and add nice variance.

It's not that it matters, it's that I noticed it missing from the list of weapons I can craft and I am reporting this because from the way it is presented it looks like a bug.

Ask him not me, it does give you free perks and such so it would be kinda unbalanced if you got unlimited. (Plus your never going to bring more then 2 or 3 sharpshooters at most so it hardly matters)

But then the presentation should be changed to be in line with the Chosen weapons, i.e. you find this unique weapon in the field and you research the weapon to figure out how to operate it. The way it is currently presented is like other things you get from research like the Mimic Beacon which you can produce in unlimited quantities. But really, why not just allow producing more of them. It's not an overpowered weapon like the Arashi.

That is intended, it's the same with the Advent Sniper's sniper you can get from research, it's because it's a "unique" weapon.

Just killed my first Duelist, looking forward to trying out the Mag Talon. I did notice a few typos in the Black Market description. 'Exept' should be 'except' and 'allows the to hand a pistol' should read 'allows them to handle a pistol.'

The Elite version can easily kill guys in Warden armor in cover by himself in one turn from just about any range. That seems a little extreme. I'm all for making the late game more challenging but .......

Advent Shock Trooper? Similar loadout to a Stun Lancer, but uses his rifle more, replaces the elite stun lancer (Is that a vanilla thing? Or is that one of the mods i'm using?) and has a mag talon, has covering fire, and return fire, an maybe 7 bars of health, and 1 armor, Advent's best,

is there any chance this would be made compatible with Vanilla/Long War 2? This is a cool idea, but I'm not sure there are any mods like this specifically for either one of those two options.

Main reason I ask is because I don't have WotC yet.
