It's a combination of all soundtracks I added for my America-themed scns. If you subscribe here, you get the full package of ~45 tracks

This is the same soundtrack I'd get from Rise of the Totonacs or Rise of the Serpent?

Yeah I know what you mean. Right now I'm making a scenario based on the Vindlandsaga told from the perspective of indigenous people, and finding traditional music from that region for the soundtrack that isn't too distracting (ie antiphonal singing, arrhythmic drum patterns, etc.) and recorded well has been something of a chore.

no worries! I'm actually wondering if more authentic music would even work. In my opinion, background music for a PC game has to be interesting, but also somewhat monotonous, so that it does not distract from the gaming experience. Music that was originally created for a different purpose could have tempo variations and dramatic increases, etc., which could even be rather annoying than enjoyable.

Yeah, you're right - I was judging this for what I wanted it to be instead of for what it is. It's actually pretty catchy not gonna lie. Sorry for being a troll

well, you're right somehow. But I don't think it was the composers' goal to recreate authentic native-american Music. It was composed to fulfill the needs of a PC game background music.

This doesn't sound anything like authentic Ameri-Indian music - just goofy new age cut from the Tarzan soundtrack.
