A real gift these little camps, love them lot. It's a great idea, and what would need a hunter at first ? A little fire, and that's,
Thank you lot for this !

Update:

Group hunting is available at the hunting camp, if the mod "Guards! Guards!" is in use and the mod option "dangerous LiF" is active.

Yury_Filatov - Ok I see what you mean! But that would defeat the purpose of this building, which is not to be a permanent hunting building, but just a camp that you can put down immediately when you see a herd of animals that you want to hunt. If a builder first has to come and bring materials, the animals would have gone elsewhere

No, not about the animation. In order to build a fire it was necessary by some amount of logs brought. That there were resources in the construction of the fire - logs.

Yury_Filatov - Sorry but I am not really sure what you mean :-( If you are talking about an animated fire, this is something that I can't do, because the fire animation in Forst Village is very big and it looks really stupid on a small campfire. Sorry :-(

Megadori, for more realism, you can add a few logs to make a fire to cut down a tree and bring it, I think it is right.

Awesome! Thank you.

Malvictis - Yes, I am indeed still modding :-) Surely a smaller gathering building would be fitting for a start with no houses, so I think I will take your request. Might take me a few days, though ;-)

Don't know if you're still modding for this at all, but what are the chances of getting one of these for gatherers? Would be really nice for early game starting with no houses.

Exactly what I need...thanks MEGADORI

What I like about this mod is that it works well for a one hunter spot. Technically it can take so tune the allowed down. The one hunter spots are an effiecient way to setup an anti-animal perimeter. Don't always need a full shelter for these on the perimeter. Hunter could sleep at home. (not sure if the normal hunter sleeps in the tarp thing, looks like he should but probably not in the game code). For a stop over hunting this is a more reasonable production cost.

Certainly! I updated the mod, a light now shines while the hunting camp has a worker.

Could you make it that the fireplace is burning at night and spend light when there is a hunter working there ?

*** Now published after eliminating a bug in the builing window. Thanks for the help Sir Foxy ***

Often I see my hunters quite literally walk past a whole herd of animals without even looking at them - because they are just outside the work area of the hunting cabin. It annoys me and also I find it unrealistic! If food is so sparse in my little village, and I see those herds of meaty creatures running around in the forest, why can't I just send out a hunting party!
So I made this campfire to mark a work area for hunters. No cost and build time, but max 2 hunters and a slightly smaller work radius than that of the original hunting cabin. I use it to micromanage the food supply of small/early villages during winter.
