@ Ghost Warrior - Sorry no idea. Could be that the mod is a bit old and new updates from the developer mean it cant be saved or could just be that a bug in the game

I have a lot of problems with crashes and a message "the game can not save" and then crash, do you have any ideas or an update of the mode

@Ferenczi Sandor - I haven't found a solution to that. Changing the names in the database files dosen't change the flags. If I find a solution I will update it

I'm getting to know your work now.
I would have a question: on the Team tab, the team can see where the center is located. For example, the Mercedes team in the United Kingdom.

But, although he shows the flag of the country, he writes that he is Japan.

Is this a bug? Or did I ruin something?

@MORO86 - The length of the sponors was made with the F1 teams in mind, I won't update it for this mod but will implement it when I make a 2018 season mod. Thanks for the feedback

This mod is the best for me because it does not change rules as I like those bases ... unfortunately only thing I found are the contracts with the sponsors, I start from the lower single-seater series and I find that contracts that last 20 races are too much long as a GP3 championship is made of only 8 races contracts last almost 3 seasons, and from one season to another the objectives change and the contracts become
obsolete ... I hope I was clear Thanks :)

@Grimm - Nothing wrong with it, but I can also understand Benni's objection considering the mod is assigning real identities to the drivers. Within the limits of the game, you hope that the drivers assigned those identities will behave in a fashion that is believable for them. Until today, I submit that it is absurd to suppose that (a) anyone can love Robotkonnen and (b) that it would be Seb.

@Benni - Its a trait thats listed in the game files. Doesn't really do much (only boosts morale I think) so it shouldn't be a problem in the game

@Benni What's wrong with that? Maybe some of them identifies as a female? Who cares?

Hey, in my season Sebastian Vettel is in love with Kimi. It says that he is "in love with his female teammate". I don't know if you can change the gender, but it would be great!

@Bacur - did all of the driver's names in the game not change. If this is the case then I'm not sure why, maybe you have another mod activated as well?

@Bacur - In game, go to the workshop square in the main menu, then on the sub-menu "mods" go to "subscribed" and it should appear. Hope that helps :)

Great mod, really! Very accurate. BIG thumb up

Though there seem to be a small mistake with ads slots: see andrej.bty note below, I've same issue. N° 4 & 6 empty. Plus there seem to be a confusion between right panel and left panel: often messed up). Nothing really nasty but if you can correct it that would be quite excellent. I'm much more concerned though with wolf1455 notes about engine development stuck at lvl 2: hope you'll find what's going on, because R&D is obviously crucial. A bit like other did about savegame corrupt vanilla bug. I quote from an other mod disclaimer:

"The 3-Stage-Qualifying Rule has been banned due to a vanilla bug that can corrupt your savegame."

I think you should do the same, even if this wouldn't be quite F1 any longer. But it's definitely better keep on playing than ending a game in frustration

Or is this bug not present in your mod (I read no complain about it)?

Looks like most/all? teams have the HQ at 5/5 regarding every building, with only once exception? Is this a bug?

good mod but my career is over. Engine development stunted.(again I need to say) 5 star designer best test track and only 2 lvls possible to use for designing. Happend on several mods thou, your and others. So it might be a glitch in the vanillas modsupport/compability. Anyway, just a new sorry ending of an exciting career.

I think the best enjoyable mode is this one , one thing is disturbing that when find new driver some of them has blank(white) rectangle on their forehead , other then superb. Nice work Thanks a lot.

Can we get a version with the driver portraits as they appear vanilla? Don't like the IRL driver faces.

I have a bug where only 4 out of 6 sponsors slots are used. :(
2 slots are permanently without any offer.

the liveries are just stock liveries but they have the correct colors. How do i fix this? Thanks for the mod.

Are there any other engine suppliers besides the vanilla ones (Cosworth, Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault)? And more suppliers for other parts as well?

@Miburo - Unfortunately it seems I cannot disable promotions/demotions even though I would like to. In the editable database, each championship is listed with Promotions/Relegations listed only as TRUE (next to series name, rules, circuits etc.). I've tried to set this to FALSE but it only crashes the game. If I make more mods and find a way to fix this, then I will update this mod as well

Is it possible to disable promotions/relegations in this mod? Created a team in F1, best result in a race was 17th place, and the last place in team standings (by a country mile) got me demoted, though I had a great deal of improvement and managed to catch up to other teams a bit. It does not make any sense as there is nothing like that IRL, F1 is not directly connected with the other racing series in a way national leagues in football are.

Great modification. It's an appreciated sneak peak on how well a real Formula 1 manager game/gamemode would be. :)

@hammadriaz - I'd recommend unistalling and reinstalling the mod

@wolf1445 - To be honest I don't know since I haven't gotten that far in the game myself. Could just be that when you get so far you can't update anymore?

Campaign breaking incident. I love the mod and Ive been playing with McLaren. Honda was wors than Saubers Ferrari. So with 400m and to test track I spended 2017-2018 seasons to get my engine(Merc season-18) equal to the rest. Now 2019 Ive got full HQ and battling up at 6 to 8 place the 2 first races. But then this happen: Im not allowed to improve more than 2 lvl of my engine?? :(

@Tzubasa99 - Unfortunately I don't think so. As far as I'm aware these characters are randomly generated and thus cannot be edited in the games database like all other characters, teams etc.

Hey, first of all thanks a lot, love this!
One question though: Is it possible to add custom portraits next to using your mod?
For example when I start a season with my self-created team, my drivers, staff, etc have system generated pictures. Would like to change these to "real" pictures aswell.
Would be great if someone has a solution to this, thanks!

If the game dosen't update on saved games or first-try games, you may have to go to steam workshop and activate/deactivate or uninstall and reinstall the mod.
