As an idea it's an incredibly cool civ with a very unique identity, but in practice it's kind of an overpowered mess.
The tile bonuses provided by the Ger are so strong that there's never a reason not to build them.
If they could only be built on featureless flat tiles, didn't land grab, and only provided 1 food/prod until fertiliser where it would go up to +2/+1 then they might be balanced.
Nomads also are able to build the Ger in 2 turns, with the combination of that + land grab I was able to take over an entire pangea map by turn 100.
I love the idea of great generals being used to settle cities and the focus on early game ranged units is fun! Starting with 2 nomads is also very strong but it's also fun so
I hope that a rebalanced version of this mod could be made
