Its weird, default gamemode too. Not sure what's causing the crash other than the mutator

I've never had TIM cause crashing, only had it give me the wrong weapons but that was due to DLC Weapon Unlocker. I run a private server as well.

@Zach Fett I don't that is true, at least on Private Servers. I don't have that mod installed and yet I still crash

I think the pre-generated INI needs to be updated to include all the weapons that have been added to the game. Trader's inventory looks a lot more naked with the default (no mods at all) configuration.

I figured out what's causing the issue. It's not that TIM is broken, it was from using the DLC Weapon Unlocker mutator. Once I disabled that it worked perfectly fine with multiple weapon packs!

TIM is broken and has been broken since the mod has been abandoned for God knows how long.

Anyone else getting the wrong weapons when they try to buy a custom weapon from the trader? No matter what, it gives me a different custom weapon instead.

However if I use ServerExt to add custom weapons to the trader, then it works fine. But I'd prefer to use TIM, since I don't really care for the RPG mechanics in ServerExt.

Does not work for me, just tried to verity it by running the mutator as a standalone with nothing else and the game crashes every time.

Also, I forgot to add this to my previous comment. I double-checked the full list of weapons (both the one posted on a guide (that's fully updated to the current patch) and the list inside the .ini file) and they both total to 92 items. I checked the log:

Yet none of the DLC weapons are showing up and the Teslauncher is nowhere to be seen. ??????????

Managed to find an up-to-date list of all the weapons in the game files (like CustomItems=KFGame.KFWeapDef_HRG_Kaboomstick )
However, even after I placed them all inside the .ini file (the list is updated to v1096), the Teslauncher (a non-DLC weapon) and none of the DLC weapons show up! What gives? What am I doing wrong?

This mutator is currently broken. Custom weapons don't show and it crashes the game. I host a server with a bunch of other mods and mutators and I'm 99% sure I installed this correctly, config and all. Please fix.

Im crashing when i load into the game (im using open kf-burningparis?mutator=TIM.TIMut command) and the only subs (other than one map and a custom crosshair) i have is the weapon mods and this mod. Anyone have any ideas?

All of the guns except for the AK74u have no sound, but the AK74u has no textures. How do I fix this?

Purchasing weapons from the trader causes a massive lag spike due to the heavy disk IO. This especially occurs when using the Reinforced Weapons package.

It is commented out, the crossed off ones have been removed from the workshop altogether.

Seems to work fine on its own, just tested it with the x-mas beta. So yeah, I'm betting an incompatibility issue, most likely with RPG mod (which prolly has its own mechanism for adding weapons).

Sounds like it might be a compatibility issue with one of the other mods, I've never tried it in combination with RPG or Zedcustom mods. Dunno about a compiler error, I haven't re-compiled this in ages tbh.

Have you tried it by itself? And doesn't the RPG mod have its own mechanism for adding weapons? Another thing you could try is to change the order of the mutators on the command line.

Hi, i installed the Mod on my dedicated Server. The problem now is that the mod wont be load. Warning in log: Warning: SpawnActor failed because no class was specified. Is there a compile error atm ?

If anyone was wondering specifically why some custom weapons aren't working, TWI changed some of the coding for the weapons, namely the way they find the packges from the SDK, animations and stuff; I'm assuming most of the modders piggybacked off the original weapons. If so, that would be the cause of why you are unable to use the weapon. I know this because it happened to me :(

For now the only fix is to remove the weapons (or weapon packs) that haven't been updated, after the summer event update, from the KFTim.ini config file. See also my previous comment.

I have a problem, Everytime I buy a weapon it appears in my bar but the problem is that when I equip the weapon i cant use it and i cant switch to the others either, anyone has a fix?

The mutator is working fine, unfortunately most of the custom weapons still need to be updated (by their makers).

For these I just look through the SDK sources, for others I have to look into the .u files (unless they list them in the workshop description).

Config lines for the newly added (summer event) weapons:

CustomItems=KFGame.KFWeapDef_ElephantGun
CustomItems=KFGame.KFWeapDef_M99
CustomItems=KFGame.KFWeapDef_PowerGloves

How does one add the latest weapons to the trader?
KFGame.KFWeapDef_M99 works for M99 AMR,
But i couldn't add the other two. Tried "KFGame.KFWeapDef_Doomstick" "...QuadBarrel" "...StaticStrikers" "...Strikers" "...Fists".
