Thanks, I'm glad you like it :)
Changing the deck is not that straightforward, sadly. But if you can find a mod for a german deck whose creator doesn't mind me using it in my own game, I can implement a mechanic for deck selection.

Very useful script, Dealing, Sorting and Counting work great.
If I only knew how to change the deck to play with German Cards.

Amazing! I'm guessing Corona got you some extra time as well. Thanks for the great work!

Done, the number of Players is no longer tied to the first setup and can be changed between games.

@Magical Grill:

Awesome! Playing with 4 players works now.

This serves our needs, but now you can only play with 4 players smoothly. Maybe, you could add a button to switch 3-player and 4-player mode? I guess it would fit right next to the "Next Game"-button. Don't be stressed by this, it's just a nice-to-have ;)

@Sir Hanni, @$ebi:

thanks for your feedback!

It is now possible to play with 4 players (see update history).
Tbh it feels a bit gimmicky to me and the positioning of the Skat is kinda awkward for the White Player, but I hope it's functional at least. Might refactor the whole thing once I get the time.

Hey, I was also just looking for a possibility to play with 4 players, thats why I just bougth TTS :P Is this possible to implement?
JoshFX 1 Apr, 2020 @ 1:11pm
Awesome!

Hey :)
thank you for this.

Do you have any intention on enabling a 4-player mode? We would like to play Skat online with four players. Each player has its own counter and in each game one of the players is the dealer and does not get cards. The next game, the dealer role moves clockwise and the next player is skipped.

Would be really helpful for us to get through this time.

Wow, you are so fast, thank you. Absolutely does it for me.

Done (see Update History). I hope it works for you, even though the sorting is kinda slow and looks a bit funny atm. I might consider putting a little more effort into it, but right now I'm pretty busy, sadly.

Well, might include a "sort" button for those who want their hand sorted.

In real life:
If I get the feeling someone is watching me that closely during play, I can always choose to sort the jacks to the right for a change or put them in the middle... besides, I never use the same order of colors when sorting as I always adapt to some random orderness that's already in the cards when I pick them up - I then try to order them with as few moves as possible - I guess that's how most people do it.
I doubt anyone would be able to tell my hand from watching where I pull my cards from... but then - maybe I just haven't played the cunniest opponents yet...

@flogae

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you like it! :)

About sorting the cards: Some players (including a friend of mine) don't like to do that, since if you always sort your cards an observant opponent might be able to guess your hand cards after a few tricks. Also, sorting your cards in this default manner can make you blind for the opportunity of playing a Null game.

Looks nice - simple but functional, all you need is there.
Only one request: would be nice if the cards would be sorted in one's hand... jacks to the left and then by color, inside every color by rank.
You always do that when you receive your hand...
