Hey guys!

Sorry it took so long but it's finally here. A 2021 Patch.
It should work now a be compatible with most other mods.

*New unit cards

*New Artillery unit

*Unit balancing

*Unit abilities reworked

pfffff man, what can i say, lovely work you did guys, there is only lefting small things like, the unitcard name's doesnt appear, the picture in the recruitment is an ashigary archer in every unit but later once recruited is working perfectly so, for me is worth to see it in combat and in the campaign too, maybe to make them a lit more expensive like right now is 135 maybe to put it in 175, the yaritowels i think they r perfect in case that u have no time to create more different tipes of unit like swordtowels (when i say towels i wanted to mean portuguese trops) couse the yari can face every unit prety balanced, that make them enought for the late game and not to strong for the early, really enjoyable man, almost perfect <3

Thi mod needs to be updated for the game, and you can recurit these on the campaign, but the unit pictures come as the ashigaru pictures, not the custom ones, so that needs to be fix.

Oh and by the way, could you give the pikemen the ability for pike/yari square as well, whilst you're at it. Maybe if you can get my other suggestion with the raised and lowered pikes to work, you could also implement it in the square, that would look terrifyingly great :D

Alucard has a very good point there, I dont know how far your modding skills reach, but I have a few suggestions: As alucard said, real European pikes would be great, maybe you could indeed take the model of the Shogunate guard cavalry's lance and make it longer. Also the long yari seem about 1-2m shorter than a European pike would be, so maybe you could make the pikes longer than the long yari (I have no idea how that would work out with the weapon hit box).
Another suggestion wouls be to make the Formation more realistic, with the first 3 ranks having their pikes lowered, the fourth having them half-raised, and from the fifth onward having them completely raised, whilst in yari wall.

Would be better if the pike unit wasn't using Japanese pikes. The shugunate guard in fots have spears that are a bit more ueropean looking.

Since we now also have Pikes with this mod, would you mind adding a European sword unit? I know the base Tercos are pretty good at melee in a pinch, but a specialised portuguese sword unit would be neat. And having a fully European army, without any samurai would add to the RP element too. :steamhappy:

after some time looking at the video, i would like to ask a question:

would it be possible for a mod to basically change the entire game? This is basically a new unit with new weapons and its own unit card.

I'm talking about Total War: WWI / WWII, Total War: TF2, Total War: Man v Zombies and whatever crazy shit you want to build massive armies and make them kill each other with.

I would like to thank you for creating these units and also for making them otomo exclusive in campaign. Also I was thinking of an idea (merely a idea and by no means a demand or request) to add an otomo exclusive ship like the black ship with portugese sailors on it. thanks man i like the radious version of the tercos but it replaces the original tercos in all the factions which i find is the only real downside.

hey man this is hard to explain but ill do it the best i can. Is there anyway you can make a version of the portugese tercos in another colour as well as the original portugese tercos so i can have battles of the original units against your custom units without everything getting confusing? it just seems kinda weird for me having tercos fighting samurai and if i pit them against other tercos they all look the same
