I dont know what it is but the weapons are all infinite. ive reinstalled, verified and had this mod be the only active one. just not working :/

idk if this is isolated or if others experience it. thought id give a heads up.

I really like the idea of the mod btw

I started a new campaign and dont have robojumpers squadselect but when i get to the tutorial to build a medkit in engineering the build list is empty and I cant do anything :(

Ok.. So I'm using the alt mod manager and nothing flags as conflicting. I've tried this with, and without robojumpers squad select, and I am using richards classes (I've also tested it disabling richards classes). I've edited tand loaded up numerous times. The values and settings in the ini seem to be working on the engineering side of things (prices, starting), although the starting items (Medkits/flashbangs) don't show up in the loadout.

I do have a bunch of mods, but no other ones that should be affecting the load out, but can't seem to pin anything down

Could you also add a mode that lets, say five, weapons be built at once? I'd like to increase the build time to Long War number, but since each item gets built one at a time, that length would take to long.

Maybe an idea for the problem
With your mod, I've a strange item when I want to change the objects for my soldiers before a mission (on the preparation screen) This object is a sleepgaz grenade.
My game is in french but the description of this object is not translated.
In the .ini of your mod, I see this object at the end of the file.
Maybe a bug with that ?

Well... it seems that there is something about the robojumper's squad selection and this mod. I'm playing without squad selection and it seems to be working fine.

Maybe something can be interesting :
I made a new try : in your ini, i changed the "starting" and "infinite" values for the medikit to "false" like in the original file.
Now the medikit appear in the build screen in the game

On the other hand. I tried to delete the game and re-installed it, without any other mod. And the problem is always here : all in grey and no item to build as soon as start the game

Thanks for this. This is the #1 thing I missed from Long War. The prices you set are probably way too high for ironman mode on higher difficulties (squad wipes and equipment losses happen far more often), so the ini file to adjust prices is a nice touch. Thanks again!

@[NUBs] Jagonchen I am currently unable to reproduce the bug you mention. Which is annoying because it seems you're not the only one affected by it, but makes it difficult to fix. Everything shows up for me as adjusted.

You can attempt to delete this mod's ini, then try to verify game data.

@Augustus Good that you mention it, thank you. Yes, that is likely my mod. BITs are tied to armor upgrades and if you make armor finite for SPARKs, they won't upgrade with them. I will make BITs available as seperate purchases in next update.

Not sure if your mod caused it but I can't seem to upgrade Spark Bits after installing this. Everthing else seems ok.

@Zevvion - I've done both (new and existing campaign).

Also I can tell the same bug happens if you try to build an item just before starting a mission (when you access the engineering deck from the squad selection screen).

Zevvion I'm having the following bug.

Once a new research had been completed to unlock a new tech/item, in the engineering deck the button for building items rolls back to Instant Build and it would not allow me to build any items.

I have to reload a saved file or restart the game in order for the button to appear as Build in X Day.

@Golgotha It is unfortunately 'wasted' at this time. Items can only upgrade others if they are infinite. There used to be a mod that circumvented this by allowing you to upgrade your weapons manually, but I don't think it is ready for WOTC yet. I heard the creator is working on it.

how does it work in regards to weapons with attachments?
As in Conventional Assault Rifle with a Ext. Mag on Soldier A.
You build a Mag Assault rifle and equip it on Soldier A.
Does it convert the improved AR to a Mag AR with the ext. Mag or is that Weapon attachment forever wasted on a low tier gun?

@Soul D. Dragneel It doesn't support weapons not covered by the ini yet. I am working on something that will allow you to make any weapon or item finite, even those found in other mods. Unfortunately, I don't think I will get it working today. Perhaps tomorrow.

@Zevvion it's working beautifully on a preexisting save. my question is this "how do i add other items to it?" i hate infinite items in a guerrilla warfare game like this but every mod weapon that works with wotc gives it regardless of this mod.

@(F.A.M) strelok I tested it for myself and it is equipable and shows up in the inventory. Did you change anything in the ini files? By default, it will take 1 day before most items are built with this mod. Can you look in the right build order qeue if it's there? You can change these settings to be instant if you want.

i can't put on NANOFIBERVEST i think it is,it's the first utility armor you get,maby it's from my side,but i just wan't to be sure.

@Soul D. Dragneel I couldn't check if it would work on existing campaigns that already researched the corresponding tech. If it doesn't show up for you let me know, I could do a temporary hotfix for that easily.

Hero Armors should now be available for purchase. Your ini file settings may have been overridden when the update pushed. Please let me know if something doesn't work still. And apologies it took this long to fix, it was a difiicult issue to solve and I went to bed yesterday immediately after publishing the mod. Lesson learned.
