Now that would be fun.

Ha, understandable. The Punic's supposed to be about 10x bigger too, my 1:10 series was meant to be somewhat reasonable.

I want to do a 1:50 or maybe 1:25 series some day to work with Rdav's fleet mechanics so we can have Halo combat on a larger scale.

I discovered that I can't actually use the Punic, as I can barely run a ship of 30 PCU and still function semi-normally. 113k would fry the game.

Ok. Thanks.
MrEvan312  [author] 7 Oct, 2018 @ 8:49pm
I think they would both fit, though.

The new one. I would've replaced this one with the new version but didn't for two reasons: I didn't have the heart to erase this one AND I put so much work and love into the new model that I wanted to see if it would get on the shop front :D
LordBrocktree4 7 Oct, 2018 @ 12:59pm
Which version does the Punic use?

Alright guys, this baby underwent such a drastic reworking I published it as a new ship (don't have the heart to delete this one) so come check it out http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1301180512

Heads up, MASSIVE overhaul inbound in the next day or so. It will massively improve appearance, armament, and will completely do away with rotors.

Ladies and gentleman, operation facelift was a success! Pictures and ship are updated, check out the difference!
MrEvan312  [author] 11 Oct, 2017 @ 7:18pm
Apparently it does use a rotor or two, but if the method works I just have to lock it and it should be fine.
Cryptic 11 Oct, 2017 @ 6:47pm
MrEvan- I'd very much like to see this method, granted it won't use rotors and other clang-inducing issues.
MrEvan312  [author] 11 Oct, 2017 @ 6:45pm
Cryptic: I may be onto a way to do this sloped plate method, there is a really cool WIP Halberd build where someone developed some dark magic spell to get it to work...

なぎなたさま: Me too. Hopefully they do it without breaking the game for three damn weeks.

i hope they add the slopes you used on the modded one to the vanilla game it would make things so much better
Cryptic 5 Sep, 2017 @ 8:17pm
Looked and tried doing this myself- that sloped armor at the front is just impossible to pull off in this game. But really awesome way on how you handled it!
MrEvan312  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:49am
I just always turn it off.
Beats-With-BothHands 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:46am
oh dont forget the thruster damage on the inside. But ya the scale to get the angle right for these is really hard. Long timeago someone made what i thought was a good scale for a Marathon and frigate in large but does not fit destroy angle well.
MrEvan312  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:34am
This is a 1:10 scale and it would only be 20 large blocks long, so yeah, it'd look pretty bad in large grid at this size. I could probably improve the appearance of the prow, I was thinking of trying maybe using flat armor peices slanted at an angle, but such an angle would require somehow tuning 3 consecutive rotors, and that'd be a pain.

nice been looking for some vanilla UNSC/halo stuff. Too bad it is a small ship fro mthe looks of it but if it was not you could get much detail out of so im ok with it for now nice work.
GEK Vengeful 3 Sep, 2017 @ 8:54am
Uh <3
MrEvan312  [author] 2 Sep, 2017 @ 1:24am
Thanks! At some point if I can get the weapons made, I'll release a world with modded versions of my ships and the Halberd will look far better with the 6x ramps.
That Gaming Titan 1 Sep, 2017 @ 11:18pm
fuck yes, great job!
