The mod is not complete and is still in development. Timeline for v1.3.3 and v1.4.0 are still unclear, but they will happen. :)

Bombers feels useless, enemy seems to shoot them down immediately and they deal no damage, the enemy crafts on the other hand seems to last way longer. Same with larger ships enemy seems to last forever, I struggled to bring down a space station with a Victory II.

Today we have updated our ECM v1.3.1 Steam Workshop files to allow our players to properly download and launch Elite's Conflict Mod from the Options tab within Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. After testing, it appears we have finally solved the problem. Let us know if it does or does not work for you and happy gaming!

We have taken a bit of a hiatus due to real life events, but the team and this mod are certainly not dead :) Development continues friends and your comments and feedback are extremely helpful to focus our limited time.

@ranec There is a new update that will be released at some point, just no ETA on that currently.

Also, can you give more information regarding the mod instability? We are aware of an issue were the mod may not launch correctly.

As im sure others have said before that the mod is crashing on launch, for a brief second i can see the custom art of the star destroyer saying elites conflict mod, before it kicks me out of the game. Used to play this a VERY long time ago curious to see how its changed.

Im hoping I wasnt the only one that knoticed that the rebellion needed a buff or the Empire needed a nerf because no matter how hard i tried 1 venator of the Empire could take out almost my whole fleet that consisted of Y-wings and a Rebel Venator witth a few Corvettes. I also wanted to point out that the missiles that come out of the Victory class II isnt suppose to annihilate fighters instantly. Im hoping the new version thats out now fixes all of that bc this mod looks amazing.

For those that are reporting that the game crashes on loading the mod, are you guys using the Modpath=..\..\..\workshop\content\32470\1125611680 launch parameter? This method appears to work best. We are still unsure why the STEAMMOD launch option no longer seems to function right.

also, the mod is not dead by any means, its just that its still being worked on, just at a fairly slow rate. Our Discord server is where most new info is shared, but we have been working on a Website [ecm-documentation.netlify.app] for the mod that is up and running, but its still fairly WIP. This new website will unify all of the links to the mod and be a better portal for information about the mod :)

"Rebalanced" Star Destroyers. ISD's I and II now have 8 weapons harpoints with 420 health (no difference between I and II) 3 engine hardpoints (250 health each and again no difference between I and II) 2 shields hardpoints (175 health points each) and a beam emisor for tractor beam with 120 health, against rebellion mc80 Liberty with 25 weapon hardpoints with 1100-700 health points 2 engine harpoints with 1250 health and a fighter bay with 600 and a hidden shield generator making them impossible to blow up shields with bombers. I hope there will be a rebellion ship "rebalance", because for now empire have literally paper ships.

7. A small thing I personally would love to see is the addition of the Braha'tok-class Gunship for the Rebel Alliance and the Gozanti-class Assault Carrier for the Empire.

"The mod is amazing and really well polished, never seen a mod polished like this before, and the graphics is spectacular, you need only to balance it better in my opinion and it will be really a masterpiece."

4. Leader Heros like Mon Mothma and Palpatine should be able to reduce the price of units on planets and I don't think they do.

5. Give some heros ships. (Garm Bel Iblis should have a Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser in space and the Battle Platform on ground.)

6. The Rebels should be able to stand against the Empire was their superiority starfighters, however the empire has the superiority even there... the X-Wing stafighters are completely useless, they can hold the line against TIE Fighters, but that's all, they will hold without really prevailing.

More ideas include making small pirate fleets that can be bought by the Rebel or Empire in bulk. (On specific planets like Tatooine or Nal Hutta)
Example:

(1500 Credits and 10 Unit Points) Small Pirate Fleet includes:
-2 IPV-1 Patrol Corvette
-1 Pirate Fighter Squadron

(4000 Credits and 25 Unit Points) Medium Pirate Fleet includes:
-1 Pirate Frigate
-3 IPV-1 Patrol Corvettes
-4 Pirate Squadrons
-2 Random transport units.

(12000 Credits and 60 Unit Points) Large Pirate Fleet includes:
-4 or 5 Pirate Frigates
-3 IPV-1 Patrol Corvettes
-4 Pirate Squadrons
-3 or 4 Random Transport units.
3. In Galactic Campaign, the special units (Rebel Mercs, Twi'leks, Bothans, and Geonosians) will disappear during the mid-game/late game and you are not able to purchase the units afterwards. It makes it annoying. I am unsure why this is.

2. Add more units like GR-75 medium transports and Z-95 Headhunters to the Rebel Alliance and the V-Wing Star Fighter to the Empire. While GR-75 Medium Transports are cheap and expendable, they should be allowed to buy the transports for a very low cost (cost of the Y-Wings) and they should not cost any unit cap. This would give the rebels a meat shield. With Z-95 Headhunters, they should be a cheap fighter available for game for rebels while the V-Wing should be available for the empire.

This is a pretty great mod! The visuals are stunning and it is really well optimized for all PCs! There are some key things that I would like to say however:

1. Rebalance some of the units. Whether skirmish or Galactic Conquest, the empire ships are a bit to powerful. Rebel Bombers should be more tanky and the proton torpedoes they shoot should do a lot more damage. CR-90 Corvettes should be able to rip apart enemy fighters also, but they don't. Star Destroyers should have weaker shields but stronger hull. The Empire seems a bit powerful. They should be strong early/mid game and the Rebel Alliance should catch up by late game. (Rebel Alliance should still be able to take planets, but not as much as empire should be able to.) Star Bases are great (except for the Imperial Star Base, they are WAY to tanky.)

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. We will definitely look into many of your concerns and observations for future releases, including v1.3.2. Our Discord is typically the best place to throw detailed feedback, just so it isn't eventually lost in the Steam ether haha, but I will copy and paste all of this into it, as your comments and genuine and thoughtful.

I hope you enjoy the mod as much as possible in its current state and that you can look forward to many of these issues being addressed in the near future.

One last thing I found a weird bug, SD I in battle are like their death clone and their population cost is only 5, also i can't kill them some how, because their spawn under the normal ship layer, as I sayd it seems like they spawn as their death clone cause the ship is in fire on all key point where it should be an hard point. they are annoying really 'cause the battle never end until they escape and they spawn continuosly starfighters.

Well... generally I don't judge other people work but this time I need to tell you this, at last to let you know about this, the mod is completely unbalanced, there is nothing, literally nothing that can stand against the empire, on land and in space....

I will explain better, firstly I started a Galactic Conquest Normal difficulty, 'cause I don't like the AI buffed but I don't like it stupid too, so I go for the normal and choosed the Rebellion ('cause who don't want to blow up some SD around the galaxy? :P).
My ass was literally kicked, no matter what I do the Empire kick me everywhere and nowhere, every starting ship that rebellion has is garbage and useless, so I found myself running from one place to another strugling to not be killed, so I choose to start another game 'cause that wasn't funny anymore. I selected the easy difficult 'casue maybe i need to get familiar with mod I tought... the result was the same.

So I tried to push with raid and kept it up auto resolving all conflict because all the battle I was in direct control the empire was too strong (an example is that a single platoon of storm trooper wiped out 6 rebellion infatry battalion without any difficult and less then an half of casualties... in the space is even worst, a single Victory II cruiser (there is something really weird about those ship they fire like the have mingun turbolaser) wiped an entire fleet of Nebulan B Cruiser and hammerhead corvette.... alone...) ok that the empire is stronger but that is too much i think... (not to mention the absurd population cost for the useless Nebula B... 18 for ship.... vs the 20 for a Victory II, this is really unbalanced, 6 Nebula B completely lost Against a Single Victory II, and they are supposed to be at the same level, and they were escorted by 10 Hammerhead Corvette....

But the thing that was really frustating was that even getting better tech level and ship doesn't ghange that, 20 Dreadnought Cruiser and 10 Quasar Carrier lost against a single Vendicator Heavy Cruiser.... Now I'm not a military theorist but this is absoloutely not right, 20 armed ships supported by 10 light carrier can't lose agianst a single armed cruiser, no way at all, and remember that this result are from easy difficult, the one you call casual in your mod. Now, to say everything, because you have to say everything to be fair, the battle just mentioned I made it self-resolving, and the fleet got defeated and I lost 12 Dreadnought Cruiser and 8 Quasar Light Carrier... you don't want to tell me that this result are fair or balanced, 'cause their are not.

What I liked in this mod is that station are hard to destroy, how it should be,.... or better, Empire Station are nearly undestrectubile. I litereally spent 15 minutes to get one down with 6 Nebula B and 10 CR90 Corvette, a way too tough I think. But knowing that I decided to play the game in defence with the rebellion and let empire came wave after wave and destroy them all..... result: the rebel station didn't stand against a single bombing from a single squadron of tie bomber.... they immediatly wiped out the shield generator and it was defenceless, not saying nothing but that was really dissapointing, considering that me with 6 Y-Wing Squadron bomber take only 15% percent of that same hard point of an Empire Station, and for that 15% my squadrons, all of them, were wiped out.

That will lead to another point, what made the rebellion stand against the Empire was his superiority with starfighters, well until you get to the b wing, (that is really god at taking down ships, or almost likely it would be if it doen't have to slow down to activate is power, and became a dead target for anyone that has a gun in the space), the empire has the superiority even there... the x wing are completely useless, they can hold the line against TIE Fighters, but that's all, they will hold without really preveling.
