@myspacio ive never noticed that ill have a look
Unfortunately, something wrong happens.
Except the red error log at starting that reminds 'Adding duplicate Verse.TerrainDef name: Sandstone_Smooth (or other stone floor types)', Also some other problems occurs. When building terrains, existing smooth stone floors (those created by smoothing stone terrains) cannot be recognized, and translated labels of these origin smooth stone floors are not showing correctly.
I think this problem may caused by the special way to define stone floor types, since I realized that they are not independent terrain types, but a combination of many different characteristics, such as 'sandstone' + 'smooth' etc. (but I'm not sure about it).
Anyway, still I have get the localization files done, and also adding a simple traditional chinese localization support. I will upload it to the same repository soon.

Cheers.
Sounds great. Looking forward to your further progress.
Cheers.
@future thanks some reason never thought of looking in them its got the translations in already aswell i might be able to easily make it use all languages the games has by default
Glad to hear this. I found these defnames in localization files for the game, since they are used to connect translated labels and origin labels together. Cannot locate them directly in any file inside the 'def' folder of the game though.
Please tell me if there is anything else I can help.
Cheers.
nice find how did you find them
The ingame defname for the five smoothed stone floor are <Limestone_Smooth><Sandstone_Smooth><Marble_Smooth><Granite_Smooth><Slate_Smooth>
When I tried to simply replace the defnames in the mod with them, warning appears when launching the game, reminds that 'Adding duplicate Verse.TerrainDef name'. However, these floors do can be built ingame correctly, and the game will recognize existing smooth stone floors and prevent blueprints being put on them.
Hope these information can make some help.
Cheers.
I can understand what you are worrying, and I think I should apologize for any of my words and behaviors that makes you feel offensive. Anyway, please be aware that I do want to provide some help instead of any trouble.
By the way, I am also digging in, and about the problem you mentioned, if I didn't get things wrong you are trying to find origin defname of these rock floors uses ingame, I think I am coming close to the answer. They could be Granite_Smooth, Sandstone_Smooth or just something like that. I am now editing localization files and will upload them soon after a simple test.
Finally, please don't hesitate to let me know if you want to update the mod. I am always glad to update localization files to fit your changes, anytime now or in future.
Cheers.
Please check localization files at https://github.com/future93/-Rimworld-Buildable-Terrain-A17-v2-by-sisco
Nothing changed in 'About' folder.
In the 'Language' folder, there are files for Simplified Chinese localization.
In the 'Defs' folder, there is nothing but your origin file of the mod. I have made some small changes to make the localization files able to run correctly. Please compare it with your own file.
I do need to apologize for posting your work by my github account, but since I don't know yours, this is the best way I can find to deliver these files to you. I will delete this repository after things finished, or I can reach yours.
Cheers
I am not a programmer, so please forgive me to explain the problem with unprofessional words. The spaces in defname will cause them no able to be called/quoted/used in xml files other than the one contains it, and thus will cause related lables unable to be translated by localization files (I can't call the defname correctly, and so I can't link the origin labal and the translated on together correctly).
I will try some other methods to avoid this problem, but the most simple way to solve it should be remove these spaces in defnames. In your case, only the spaces in the five newly added rock floor defnames will cause troubles.
Cheers.
Translation is almost done. Please consider to remove all of the space in defnames (for example, <defName>smooth sandstone</defName> ----> <defName>smoothsandstone</defName>), since currently these spaces may cause troubles for these defnames to be recognized in localization files.
Cheers.
I'm glad to wait for your new update.
By the way, there is no need to care about coding issues, thanks to a software written by someone else I can easily generate localization files for almost everythings in typical mods (sadly maybe not those in dll files).
So after you finish on updating the mod, please just give me some time and a channel so I can push the localization files to you (I recommand github), and all the rest is to put the files directly in the mod to add new language support.
Anyway, I am looking forward to your new update and please don't hesitate to tell me when you are ready to add chinese localization.
Cheers.
@future93 ive never done such an addition before not sure how too yet let me try and get these extra floors down and ill start looking at it as other content is added i might need more translations doing for it if your willing to keep that side updated it would help make sure it stays a worthwhile addition
+1 on wanting natural stone floors
ive had a play around with adding them might not be a simple add which might explain why the original never had them now ive a couple of hours spare ill get stuck in hopefully wont take long
1 slap, many flies died? - or something...
YEah okay a bit trvial, even with the image, but still a request none the less.
Also, as of writing, i'm about to go to bed, so i just like to know, and hopefully get an answer before playing tomorrow: Can i build rough stone too?
