xD Probably cause this is way out of date, I haven't been keeping track of this, since it's apparently actually got subscribers (had like 20 last I checked.) I'll probably update it sometime soon.
An Rurn 5 May, 2013 @ 1:36pm

Ya did good bro. Epic win. I suscribed. Enjoy your Rating-Up!

LOL RIGHT! Alduin actually says if you wear daedric armor when you and Paarthurnax fight him: "EVEN THE DAEDRA FEAR ME!!!" So obviously Looting a dragon and making armor from bones should be better than Satan Armor. Plus, Being part christian Daedric Does NOT agree with my goody-two shoes character.

I totally agree i mean if they want the daedric to be stronger why not put it at 100 smithing and put the dragon at 90? But i have to say i think the reason they did that is because the dragon may be a little worse, but there are alot of dragons and its easier to get dragon bones than daedric hearts.

the daedric armor is ugly because it's not symmetric. but it should be stronger because it's used by daedra who are stronger than the gods because they are immortal.
Ralf 4 Mar, 2012 @ 6:33am
Can't rename my Dragon Armor. Please fix.
Geckonator 26 Feb, 2012 @ 3:17pm
Hey, it won't install without an error. I keep getting "error 16." Any ideas?
Minnesotan Tiger 25 Feb, 2012 @ 8:42am
The main reason daedric armor has a better armor rating is because it's harder to craft; you need a daedra heart for each piece in addition to ebony, which are hard to come by, while players should already have a plentiful amount of scales and bones by the time they reach smithing 100, so it's a lot easier to make. I do agree though that dragonplate should be better than daedric, considering it's made from the bones of FREAKING DRAGONS.

Other points:
@[]U[]Moya) It doesn't break lore. Yes, daedric has been the best in the past, but there has never been a set of armor made of dragon bones before Skyrim, amirite?
@Synaethesia) Not everyone wants to break the game by spending 2 hours buffing their smithing with enchanting and alchemy. Some of us possibly want the game to keep challenging us even after we've gotten to the best armor and weapons in the game by keeping them to an appropriate level of armor rating and damage.
DeadKolac 24 Feb, 2012 @ 9:23am
this mod is a great idea! 100 smithing to unlock dragonplate and 90 to unlock daedric. yet daedric is better?! how does that make sence. also i dont see how this breaks the lore of the game? daedric was the best armor in other elderscroll games yea but a lot can happen in 200 years.
Fluffy Cactus 23 Feb, 2012 @ 4:14pm
ya but the dadric armor is so ugly in this game
Viri 23 Feb, 2012 @ 1:34pm
This mod is quite useless because the armor cap in this game is 567. You can get this with steel plate armor WITHOUT a shield. Just improving Daedric armor will get you past the cap.
SirObliviousRex 23 Feb, 2012 @ 12:58pm
If you use the crafting table to increase them both to ledgendary, dragonplate is better...
[The] Force  [author] 21 Feb, 2012 @ 7:52am
@Moya I know this breaks lore, I already had a discussion with my friend about it and he was pretty grumpy with me, I'll tell you and everyone else the same thing I told him.

If you don't want/like it, don't use it.
Space 20 Feb, 2012 @ 8:06am
FYI, this mod breaks the lore. Daedric armor is suppose to be the strongest armor throughout the elder scrolls. If anything, they should just create a mod that switches the perk between the two. That would solve this issue tremendously.
Saint Kaos 20 Feb, 2012 @ 4:17am
i agree with @inhaletheflames, by the time it came to crafting either daedric or dragon, i had some many bones and scales it was ridiculous but i only had 4 daedra hearts plus i still had to accumulate all the ebony ingots required. Dragon is much easier to acquire because of the sheer number of dragons you fight plus you can just fast travel between dragon spawns and they are back.
Zelalas 20 Feb, 2012 @ 3:45am
@InhaleTheFlames Depends, I just crafted a whole set of Daedric Armor for a follower by just going to Alchemists and buying the hearts, easy enough. Took me about 5 minutes, missed one heart >.<. The time it takes Dragons to respawn, estimated 2-4 days ingame, is almost equal to the time it takes the hearts to respawn at the Alchemists, also estimated 2-4 days ingame. While there are more Dragon nests, it also takes a while to kill them =P
I do agree on the Daedric Armor being badass though, wished there was a combination thing going on that looked more badass (Daedric Dragon armor) :D
ITFEastan 19 Feb, 2012 @ 5:50pm
I beg to differ. Dragonplate armor is a lot easier to get than daedric. All you need are dragon bones, which you get from every dragon.. and by the time you get to 100 smithing you should have more than enough. So easy to make dragonplate compared to daedric. daedra hearts are so hard to get! I never liked the look of dragonplate anyway. Daedric looks awesome. Just my opinion thuogh, nothing against this mod. It's great for people who actually like the dragonplate. I like to think Bethesda left daedric the best heavy armor because it looks awesome. :P
AlterNick 19 Feb, 2012 @ 5:18pm
Thanks, I always thought that Dragonplate should be stronger than Daedric. It is harder to get, and Dragons are the main focus/final frontier of the game!
Phonesy 19 Feb, 2012 @ 11:50am
There is a slight problem with the Fist of Steel perk.
The way it is arranged, you get damage bonus for the material and not the base damage, have you fixed this by switching material tags?
Temnikov 18 Feb, 2012 @ 11:36am
@Tiggy it's dAEdric, not dEAdric
Finally someone made it, sub! It pissed me off when I've knew that bone armor is worse then daedric. How it is possible - dragons are immortal, they are children of Aedra - Akatosh, so dragon bone should be much better.
Tiggy 18 Feb, 2012 @ 7:37am
in my honest opinion i just think that the dragon and deadric smithing perks should have been swaped, i mean dragon bone would probably be easier to work with than the combination of ebony and deadric magic stuff, if ya get my meaning.
Rockhearth 18 Feb, 2012 @ 1:25am
Deadric has better armor rating then Dragon but more weight and any armor rating above 567 is obsolete, so basicly after you get the right perk it's more a question of which looks better on you.
Turbo 17 Feb, 2012 @ 4:24pm
I thought dragon plate was better in the first place, well atleast I know I dont have to get 100 smithing now.
Wizard 17 Feb, 2012 @ 1:56pm
As for Dedric over Dragon and lore stuff...use staff of Sanguine to fight a dragon. Dragon beats Dramora so the dragon is stronger but haven't been around to prove it in the past...though I agree that Ebony is still more awesome
egg_boy_95 17 Feb, 2012 @ 9:49am
Ebony will always be more awesome. And better looking.
joeayt 16 Feb, 2012 @ 6:50pm
daedric armor has a higher armor rating than dragonplate because of the rarity of the materials needed to forge it
Kouga 16 Feb, 2012 @ 1:16pm
I always figured there's some lore thing "Deadric armor is the strongest armor in Tamriel" or some shit.

If that is the case, this mod tampers with lore!

Eitherway, Dragon Armor is Already better than Deadric in a perspective. It's less tough, but lighter. If you haven't picked the Stamina while leveling, you might lack carrying capacity. Therefore you might preffer Dragon armor.

On a last note, I still think Deadric Gauntlets beat Dragon Gauntlets in this mod. That 1 armor overs that weight more weight. (:

Il Grande Pietro 16 Feb, 2012 @ 5:19am
how do i download stuff???
pocbame 15 Feb, 2012 @ 12:28pm
I always wondered this. The smithing perk for dragon armor requires 100, while the Daedric requires 80. I was like "dafuq?"
Captain Daddy 14 Feb, 2012 @ 3:51pm
@Domascus but dragons are way more kick ass than daedra therefore your argument is invalid. Not lore breaking at all
Domascus 14 Feb, 2012 @ 9:04am
Sort of lore-breaking imo. Daedric armor is from Oblivion aka Hell. It's supposed to be the best.
[The] Force  [author] 14 Feb, 2012 @ 12:05am
oh and @Sairothon, yes the light armor of dragon is buffed as well, not much you'd still get more base value with the heavy daedric, but with points in light armor skills that stuff'll be a lot tougher. Guys do note I didn't actually "buff" anything, I swapped their stats and then recalced what the light armor should be based on the new dragonplate vs the old dragonplate. Should be balanced out well.
[The] Force  [author] 14 Feb, 2012 @ 12:00am
Ya I made a Nord and gave him the gear with the .additem, so you start with some points in heavy armor I believe.

@Stickydude neither this just swaps their stats out, and thanks for asking guys, just noticed description didn't carry properly on upload :D
enzz82 13 Feb, 2012 @ 11:39pm
You have to take into consideration that he has skill points. So that will buff up the numbers in game.
Terpinator 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:57pm
is it just me, or does this also buff the daedric armor? http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Daedric_Armor_(Skyrim) it says gauntlets and boots are only 18, but here it is 19 for both? And the helmet goes from 23 to 24, and the shield goes from 36 to 37. Is this a mistake? :P
Stickydude1 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:52pm
Does this just buff up dragon? Or does it do that as well as degrade Deadric?
Patton 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:52pm
It took me a lot longer to get the deadric armour because of the deadric hearts. But the dragon armour was easy cause there are dragons everywhere.
Terpinator 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:51pm
@Dostro Well look at it this way, if there were a light armor version of daedric armor, it'd be stronger than the light armor for dragon, and this mod attempts to make dragon armor better than daedric. So I say that dragon light armor should be made a bit stronger. Not as strong than daedric heavy armor, but I think that perhaps adding about the same about of armor rating as the mod creator did for the heavy dragon armor, should be done for light armor. Probably take one or two points off from the armor rating increase, seeing as the numbers are gonna be smaller.
Dostro 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:41pm
Light armor is already the strongest available and doesnt require a buff. It never made sense that heavy dragon wasnt as good as heavy daedric to me anyways. Thanks for the mod
Terpinator 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:39pm
I like the looks of this! Does this only buff the heavy armor of dragon? It'd be awesome if you could buff the light armor too, but not too much, still wanna keep the balance of the game, right? :D

I'd totally use this if light armor got buffed, as I'm a light armor user :) *Rates up*
