Lol, that would explain the problem. No worries, I wasn't inconvenienced at all.

@Nianor Skywolf Hihi, I got some time on my hands and wanted to see whats wrong, took me a Minute to understand that this is my B18 Version of the Mod. I dont know how or why it is flagged as 1.0 but the correct Version is this one: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1444224777

Sry for the inconvenience. :2018bestcoffee:

@Snowi The machine pistol isn't based off the Uzi, it's based off the TEC-9. To me, the heavy SMG looks more like an HK-51 "Angry Gun" than anything else. The chain shotgun doesn't quite look like the Saiga 12 to me anymore, as it has a purely vertical magazine more like an AA-12. I don't think it's really represented by any IRL weapon. Other than that, everything else seems about right to me.

•Lewis guns could accomodate either a 47- or 97-round pan magazine, so any disparity between the Home Guard model and the in-game sprite could be attributed to using the larger magazine.
•The DP-28 has no pistol grip. This feature was introduced with the DPM, but the DPM had a tube protruding from the rear of the receiver to house the recoil spring. The Rimworld LMG lacks this.

For more images of the Lewis gun in the configuration I linked, you can search for things like "Home Guard Lewis Gun". "Lewis Gun without shroud" may also provide some helpful references.

(Also I hope this doesn't make me look like a troll/nitpick, I just like gun discussion)

•The Lewis variant I linked has a wooden stock (with the same downswept design as the Rimworld LMG's, while the DP-28's features a semi-circular protrusion on the underside).
•It also has the more triangular front sight (like the Rimworld LMG), where the DP-28's is much blockier.
•In-game, the barrel is skinny and apparently unshrouded, but the DP-28 has a big perforated metal heat shield around its barrel. The Lewis gun I linked has had the shroud removed.
•All three weapons show a conical muzzle.

3. The profile of the magazine on the sprite is to big vs. the profile of the Lewis, which in return checks out with the DP-28 again. Also, on the sprite the grip and stock are made out of wood, which is very common for russian designs. There are some Lewis guns which do have a wooden parts, too, but they were all painted Black for tactical reasons. (Don't know about aftermarket thou)

In conclusion: I still think it is the DP-28. Your Picture seems also highly likely, but I couldn´t find any wiki links or other leads which shows it in this configuration.

@[1] Echo-77 Now, I looked at the Lewis Gun and can say the following:
The original sprite in the game (http://rimworldwiki.com/images/b/bd/LMG.png) has many characteristics, which the Lewis guns simply doesn´t have.

1. The Original Lewis Gun (MG1917, MK.I, Model 1915 etc) did have a really big Handguard. (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/39/LewisGunParts1.jpg/220px-LewisGunParts1.jpg) which was removed by later (Anti-Aircraft) and licensed build variants. (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/ff/Leteck%C3%A9_muzeum_Kbely_%289%29.jpg/220px-Leteck%C3%A9_muzeum_Kbely_%289%29.jpg)

2. The muzzle on the sprite doesn't add up with the Lewis. On the sprite it starts small and gets bigger at the end, which in contrast is exactly what the DP-28 have. (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/13/Machine_gun_DP_MON.jpg/300px-Machine_gun_DP_MON.jpg)

The Rimworld LMG seems to bear the strongest resemblance to the Lewis Gun, particularly the variant used by the British Home Guard during WWII.

Now Updated for gameversion 0.18 (A18)
Snowi  [author] 14 Sep, 2017 @ 1:13am
Like already said, the M700 and M24 are basically the same gun. I didn´t touch the Charge Rifle and Incindiary Launcher, because I doubt they exist in reallife (yet).

On a sidenote, I found out the LMG was called L-15 ingame before, the only gun which I could find with that designation is a german aircraft-defense LMG which doesn´t even remotely looks like the sprite. So I am staying with DP-25.
Nazgurol 12 Sep, 2017 @ 2:16pm
M700 should be named "M24," also "R4 Charge Rifle" and "T9 Incindiary Launcher," if you're going off the old labels.

On Youtube, Blitz has some Pre-Alpha gameplay footage, and those are the item names.
Snowi  [author] 6 Sep, 2017 @ 9:34am
I mean, you are not wrong here. A TEC-9 is not a HeavySMG in real life with its 9mm catridge. Heck it even needs to be modified to shoot in Full-Auto mode.
Alyfox 5 Sep, 2017 @ 10:31pm
Alright, I can accept that explanation, lol
Snowi  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 4:31pm
@Alyfox Because that is what the Sprites are. :2016weiner:
Alyfox 5 Sep, 2017 @ 3:05pm
Hrm. Why do you have the Heavy SMG as the TEC-9? Its a machine pistol. And.. the UZI is most assuredly an SMG and not a machine pistol.
ЯΞVУ 3 Sep, 2017 @ 2:26am
Snowi knows their guns, nice mod!
Snowi  [author] 1 Sep, 2017 @ 11:30am
@louiseleon The M24 and M700 are de-facto the same, with the M700 being the civilian variant. Also the M700 seems to have a bipod stock, while the M24 need one as an external attachement.

With the pump shotgun I am unsure, both the Mossberg and Remington do have variants which just look like the sprite. I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask the Devs themselfes. :2016snocone:

Akarthus 30 Aug, 2017 @ 8:34pm
and the LMG looks like L86A1
Akarthus 30 Aug, 2017 @ 8:34pm
I think the sniper looks like M40? and the Chain shotgun i go for AA12 XDD
Snowi  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 8:50am
Well, the sprite is really hard to identify, but luckily the gun was named Lee-Enfield in the beginning, later changed to survival rifle and at some point to the current bolt action rifle. (If the Wiki is correct)
Silent Service 30 Aug, 2017 @ 2:30am
good one, i thought the Bolt Action Rifle was this russian Mosin Gun^^
