Using preview LOS on water made my windows restart (This kind of water: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/7cgtja/first_time_ive_ever_seen_a_map_with_water/)

Not sure if it's possible to be fixed but if you're previewing movement or bodies, you can switch between targets with tab but you can't go back with shift.

for those who only want the corpse location and not the other features.
Inside the config file, will be as below. Self explanatory

+SHOW_LOS_PREVIEW=false

Get the "Remove Missing Mods" mod to unbind mods from your save

I download this to try it and didnt like it, so I disabled it, and now my save is saying it requires it and doesn't work at all properly. :( Might even have to go all the way back to a save before I installed it, which was miday through the last mission. :(

You can place them at the end. Just need to open up the ini file in the mod and set them to like 2100, 2150 and 2250

My one big gripe is that these are ability buttons. Otherwise a great mod!

It would be great if you could at least place the abilities at the end. Otherwise, good mod!

The file XComLOSPreview.ini doesn't seem to exist on my config folder. Is there anywhere else I can take a look?

Anyone else grab this just to use the Extract Corpses mod more easily?

This mod is genius. I first saw it being used by C-Odd in his season 7 campaign. Helps plan for pesky lost especially. Great work and thanks!

is it possible to turn off all buttons but the one that shows enemy movement? Or is there an alternative mod that only does that?

You can change the settings to not scan all levels and the impact won't be as much. Just means you manually need to change the height level you're wanting to see

Oof amazing mod but yeah the lag increase when activated is something...but hard not to carry it around!

starting it mid mission does not work, however you can force give it to the currently selected soldiers with console command

Hi! I installed the mod but button does not appear!
I tried guide with no luck. I have no other mods.
Maybe there is something to enable mod (I switched on ON in laucher, it is green)?

Now I have 5 turns left and hell a way back to extraction, my sniper lies dead with Chosen's Rifle, Pistol and Lizard Armor. But I can't find damn body!
I just... don't want to loose this stuff. Don't know why. Not if I need it realy, but... you know that feeling.

Yes. I've been using both for ages.

Is this mod compatible with Gotcha Again? Gotcha Again gives all sorts of useful LOS indicators, but doesn't have enemy movement preview, like this mod, so if I could use both, that would be amazing.

cone abilities must always emit from where the unit stands, so no.

is there plans to add a directional version of this a) to reduce lag and b) so abilites that work in a cone can be checked

Can you change the Toolbar Priority so that all these new abilities are added to the rightmost position? The preview ability lands on "2" which is usually overwatch.

it's technically possible but your PC won't be able to handle it. At current range it is already using 80+% CPU on a 3.5GHz core.

Is there a way to make the LOS preview work at longer ranges for squad-sighted targets?

I found a little bug, if it is one in WOTC: The preview bodies ability will also show on some map objects for example the little psi transmitters.

Well things like overwatch all don't show up in armoury, maybe you can take inspiration from there?

Please have a look at the camera after previewing the movement range of enemies. The angles and distance to the map often obscures areas of the map immediately beyond the range of movement of any targeted enemy.

because WOTC changed the way it gets the list of ability to better show abilities not from that class, I can patch out an option to hide it.

For some reason these abilities show up in armory - this didn't happen with vanilla mod. Any idea what could be causing this? It only appears on people who been in combat and doesn't appear in robojumper's squad select

never seen that problem, you have other stuffs that breaks it.

The mod is great but it bugs the Reaper Remote Start Ability. It no longer detects possible targets for firing.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, a command ability can be added through a mod, but the maximum is 1 total?

If that's the case, a mod could be created where every mod that uses it as a dependency can have their soldier abilities appear on the soldier ability bar whenever this command button is pushed...

the command bar is completely hardcoded to take just 1 command ability (the rest of the buttons are not actual abilities)

-bg-, what are the issues with using the command bar at the top right? The more details the better.. sounds like something that would be useful for the Highlander mod to tackle.

Also, as a possible workaround... would the command bar be able to add a way to toggle the abilities from appearing on the soldier ability bar rather than being the abilities themselves?

i tried it but it moved OW on my guys and that annoyed me enough to not like it LOVE the idea just wish it was able to be specifically placed (no modder will ever do that) but since its not (im pretty sure) ill have to not use it
