Hey man. If it's wet you'll only need to make a few adjustments. Heavy rain it always good practice to add 2 clicks of front wing and 1 click on the rear. Lower the differential using your MFD to around 60 (just get used to changing it as this can help with wheel spin on acceleration). If only light rain add 1 to 2 clicks of front wing only and just lower your MFD Diff setting by 4 clicks or so. This will keep the car setup ready for if the track dries out and most changes can be made before you make a Pit stop.

Thanks for the full uploads. I don't terribly know what I'm doing with editing a car so this is a great way to start my first season with Honda. So far I've been doing the Australia qualifications and I'm doing fairly well. (Race 1 of the season)

Hey guys, I've started to update some of the setups with my tweaks I have made for season 3, I'll start updating them here tonight so they should automatically update in your Steam Workshop setups if you're still subscribed to them.
Little hint, I've upgraded all of the power upgrades through seasons 1&2 (Not all the fuel efficiency though) and I've been focusing on downforce upgrades this season. No Chasis upgrades yet as I will work on them next season.
The changes are subtle, but I have made adjustments for the extra power and downforce the car has for better tyre wear and stability etc.

Yeah I've had it happen a few times, racing Canada last night and while coming into the pits Ricciardo punted me up the backside making me speed into the pit entry causing a penalty. He broke his front wing though so it wasn't all a loss!

i maybe take a break from this game, i think i got a copy without vettel & Co, cuz all i see in the race is magnussen - never seen a redbull, ferrari or mercedes in front of me ... when this guy appears in my back-mirror i had to rage-quit 2 races, cuz this aggro AI always crashes me in the back that i´m off track...
anyone of u also experienced aggro AI? (difficulty level 100, call me noob)

Doing anything else McLaren wise is difficult setup wise as people will have had different upgrades added which will cause some setups not to work properly. What I thought would be best to do is make setups for a mid field team and setups for a top team then it should be simple enough for people to find a setup that suits them. So Renault/Williams setups should work well on a McLaren in season 3/4 and a setup on a Red Bull should work well in season 5/6. etc. I'm half way into season 3 with McLaren with most power upgrades and a couple of chasis/downforce upgrades and these setups still work well with minimal adjustment.

They work well enough, with the bottom few teams, but from Torro Rosso upwards I've notice they need a few tweaks to liven them up again. I've started working on a full season of Torro Rosso setups which work well with every team up to Williams

are those setups good on other cars like toro rosso or nah?

No worries man! But yeahe I know what you mean, I've had a look at some other setups and people still seem to be trying to Min/Max everything like we did back on 2015/2016 but you just don't need to do it on 2017. Also all the ones I have seen where everyone is maxing out the front wing, it just make the car feel heavy and sluggish going in a corner not to mention slow and unstable on the straights. I enjoyed making these, and glad everyone enjoys using them!

Will just be difficult for me to make new ones for the same team because it will depend on what upgrades you have is they will work well or not

Hey man. These should easily carry you up to season 4 with little to no adjustments. I'm currently working on Torro Rosso setups which I find also work well with an upgraded McLaren. So get a few season under your belt and if you're still with McLaren try out the Torro Rosso setups

Ha ha! Best thing I have read all day! Hungary was a fun setup for me once I knew I had nailed it! Yeah, there's a few setups that are absolutely perfect despite the low power and the McLaren power development being bugged to hell, obviously for a fair few tracks it's just making the best of a bad situation by maximising cornering speed. But there is the odd track where the setups really shine. I'm glad you enjoyed it dude!

Well, I actually had to raise the difficulty after using these for Hungary and only practice one in Spa, as I felt I was cheating somehow. Quallified 7th in Hun and finished 4th. A bit too good for a season1 McLaren. :))

Torro Rosso setups have begun! These have been placed in there own collection. I'm aiming to throw together at least 3 setups a day, it might be more depending on how much free time I have this weekend.

Right, I've just done a few quick races in the Torro Rosso against Ultimate AI. A few things I noticed on the couple of setups I tried, doesn't need as tight of a rear end, front end could do with sharpening up, could get away with using a bit more front wing than normal on twisty circuits and less rear on faster one's. Car just naturally has more power and more downforce and you can REALLY feel that, IT'S SO EASY TO DRIVE!!! OK, I might look into Torro Rosso afterall or maybe just 1 step up to Renault. I'll try and get around to look at it properly over the weekend, but keep voting between Torro Rosso, Renault, Forvce India!

Hey guys, glad you found them useful! This should be good base setups for any of the bottom running teams, I've got 2 votes for doing Torro Rosso but was thinking Williams, Force India or Renault as I feel there will be enough performance difference with those teams to justify doing all of the setups again. ;)
