A good example of this is the recently updated mod picture of the A-10 sporting little PTSD '48 with his iconic helmet and a rather dashing, bold, and brave autist with a death wish combat pilot.

The second way to do it requires you to use Firewill's Aircraft (and theyre fucking awesome so why wouldnt you). In the "rearming" system is another sub-system called the "Aircraft Decoration Extended System" (ADES). ADES allows you to set certain items within the "insignia" class (ie these patches) as roundels, decorations, and nose art on the aircraft. This is the way the roundels of this mod was intended to be used; I've already seen a few units come up with other ways.

That being said, there is probably some way out there to get the insignia to appear on vehicles in the eden editor, but I'm not privy to it. Regardless, I highly suggest you use this with Firewill's Aircraft - there's nothing more badass than gun-running a column of puny tanks in an OG A-10C that has some big 'ole tiddies and a witty saying on the side.

So there are two ways to do it.

For vanilla aircraft, create a unit [units.arma3.com] and add yourself to it. The insignia you choose there will appear on... pretty much everything: cars, tanks, trucks, helicopters, fixed wing - even your left shoulder. This is pretty much a blanket way to do it, but it is not what the "roundel" part of this mod is intended for.
