The Helmet of the green eastern unit are really useful for my mod of hight iron Age to describe ancient Olpite of dark Age, how they are called in the pfm? I love these helmet!

Is this gonna be updated for DK and Rise? Old DLC and factions work just fine
Hoplite 7 Dec, 2017 @ 5:02pm
Does it still work with the new update?
Azazash 12 Nov, 2017 @ 2:12pm

hello link for mediafire does not working i tryed to delete those spaces too
GreenJKing 28 Sep, 2017 @ 9:03am
Downloaded the pack from mediafire and there were no more missing bodies. It seems to be a problem linked with the 4 packs.
GreenJKing 28 Sep, 2017 @ 6:32am
Playing as Armenia and Noble spearmen don't have bodies, just hands, heads and weapons
Hori 21 Sep, 2017 @ 9:17am
I am going to try and initiate the uploading tomorrow morning before I leave for university, hope it finishes when I come back home.
Hori 21 Sep, 2017 @ 9:17am
The Mediafire version is different from the Workshop one not only in the fact that it's a single file on Mediafire and multiple on Workshop but also in the content in the mod itself. It doesn't seem to have any problems with the appearance of the units but it's also got a lot of weird and unneccessary stuff not just in game's main menu and interface but during gameplay as well. For example, emblems of certain factions are different and some unit cards picture simple renders of corresponding units instead of card art, while the art of the rest of the cards is weirdly different and features random stuff like 'SPQR' on Roman units and Ahura Mazda on Eastern ones. The cards also lack colour. More than that, the very package of the mod features outright garbage like Thumbs.db or desktop.ini files inside. I deleted all random crap in the mod and tried uploading the clean version to the Workshop but it was taking forever so I just clicked 'PLAY' and went continuing my campaign.

Be sure to download all four parts, or use the mediafire link above. Follow the instructions if you do that instead.
Hori 20 Sep, 2017 @ 11:12am
Dude... Bactrian hillmen and praetorians kind of haven't got any bodies...
tonetone 19 Sep, 2017 @ 3:46am
On my last post I am thinking a battle mod I'm using is not allowing me to use this reskin mod
tonetone 19 Sep, 2017 @ 3:28am
Can anyone point me to some pics of the Roman faction? I have all four parts installed and Pre Marian Rome still wears yellow and red clown clothes. I was hoping for more realistic colors for Rome like the Vae Victis mod has, or maybe the mod is not even activated?
kirkwhitfield 15 Sep, 2017 @ 4:05pm
i downloaded this mod and it crashed my game it wiped out all my mods so its corrupted and ive got to install rome again
Old School Internet Warlord 6 Sep, 2017 @ 9:02am
Very cool. Could you maybe also make a shields only version?
Dixie Normus 6 Sep, 2017 @ 6:24am
Also, as an archaeologist I always get really warm and fuzzy inside when modders do proper research. Another reason why I can't stand Radious/Wolfman's units. Thanks for putting in the hours.
Dixie Normus 6 Sep, 2017 @ 6:23am
Can I get this to work with Sebidee's unit packs? His pack and the recommended "gap filler" mods are still the most balanced and fitting units around imho. There is a compatibility patch for 2.0, but not for 3.0. Will it overwrite without issues if I just force it to load after the other unit packs?
Dubbatee 6 Sep, 2017 @ 3:52am
with regular skins
Dubbatee 6 Sep, 2017 @ 3:51am
I have no mods running but all of the 4 parts of this mod and when I check the custom battle faction units they're just vanilla units..
tonetone 5 Sep, 2017 @ 7:42am
Downloading now. This must have taken a ton of time. Thanks for your hard work
Thunderbolt II  [author] 2 Sep, 2017 @ 1:58pm
Yes it is, I have tried to make it as historically accurate as possible. I have used historical examples taken from ancient coins, monuments, statues etc. It is extensively researched.
Bigremy 2 Sep, 2017 @ 1:06pm
is this mod historical?
Hawk™☆KevRockZ☆ 30 Aug, 2017 @ 6:09pm
Hey Thunderbolt, great Mod and nice work! Just have one problem: Im getting weird Unit Cards when i download the manual file. Also tried the steam version, but there i was getting graphical bugs (like back shields). Could you pls take a look at that? Would love to get it without changin the unit cards. Thanks.
GamingSloth 28 Aug, 2017 @ 3:27pm
Brilliant mate thank you - i loved version 2.0
Could you tell me what extra units are added ?
Awesome mod mate cheers - rated :) but got link to media fire as you said more stable :)
TallestDavid 27 Aug, 2017 @ 8:50pm
oh its because your using the old prefixed hoplon shields and not using the fixed on foream hoplons in wraith of sparta shields :) thats all. easy fix
Thunderbolt II  [author] 25 Aug, 2017 @ 9:02pm
This mod reworks the appearence of almost all the vanilla units. It adds more than 300 new shields, as well as new helmets, armour, clothes, and more.
Thunderbolt II  [author] 25 Aug, 2017 @ 8:59pm
I'm not sure which units you are refering to. In history earlier hoplites had large shields, and later on pike units used smaller shields to reduce weight. My hoplite units do have large shields, and my pike units like the Bronze shield pikes, and Silver shield pikes, have small shields.
76561198078041748 25 Aug, 2017 @ 12:07pm
fix hoplons man, how they can form phalanx with those tiny shields ? ???
TallestDavid 25 Aug, 2017 @ 1:51am
the Aspis hoplon shield wasnt tiny. shouldve fixed those while you were at it. would make your shields way better. i think CA mistaken Parma pike shields for the hoplites.
GussiePotato 24 Aug, 2017 @ 8:33pm
So this mod is huge and awesome.... I have no idea what it actually does????? all cosmetic?
Alaric 23 Aug, 2017 @ 11:02pm
Can someone explain to me what this mod does?
Public 23 Aug, 2017 @ 6:02am
That African archer unit is so realistic
Hatefig 22 Aug, 2017 @ 9:33pm
Nah, I validated the files, the Steam download went fine. I believe what specifically causes the disappearing bodies is the way the blood dlc interacts with the characters (not when they are bloody, just having it on). This bug used to be quite prevalent after that DLC was added, even in vanilla. It was patched, but I suspect mods originally conceived for earlier versions of the game may have preserved the bug; upon closer inspection the bug affects different units in different playthroughs (only once has it affected my own units, it appears to be for random factions), making me believe the issue is general rather than tied to any reskins. This thing has not happened with any mod in Attilla, making me believe the issue is constrained to this game. It's not just your mod, either, happens with a couple others, too. Probably nothing you can do about it.
Thunderbolt II  [author] 22 Aug, 2017 @ 9:18pm
This disappearing body bug is odd, I can't quite figure it out. It works just fine with me, even with the specific units mentioned. There may be a mod conflict somewhere. If that is not the case, make sure you have all four parts to my mod installed. If that also is not the case, it may be an issue with steam. Try downloading my mod from the mediafire link above. If you choose to do that, don't forget to delete the spaces before www. and .com in your search engine.
Hatefig 22 Aug, 2017 @ 9:02pm
2/2 So far I've only noticed one significant bug, the classic disappearing body bug. Seems to affect Sword Nobles and Spear Nobles for Armenia (I think Spear Nobles is a modded unit from one of the others, probably Champloo, but they are just identical the to vanilla Sword Nobles besides the weapon), as well as the Praetorians for the Romans. I am not sure if this is due to a mod conflict, but considering it affects non-reskinned vanilla units I doubt so. It is probably just Notitia. Either way you can now put "Compatible with Radious and most roster expansion mods" in the description for this mod.
Hatefig 22 Aug, 2017 @ 9:02pm
Okay, I have now tested the mod with various others graphical mods (Radious, ChampLoo's Gold Unit Compilation, and Sebidee's roster expansion mods), and there seems to be full compatibility, except that Notitia Dignitatum appears to "overrule" all other reskins, which makes me a bit sad in regards to Sebidee's mods, because he really made an effort to make generic units like Hillmen and Eastern Spearmen look different for every faction. Not that I'm hating on your Hillmen, of course, but it's just not the same as when the units look different for every faction. 1/2
Theplahunter *Spitfire 22 Aug, 2017 @ 11:55am
Egypt: Royal peltast shields (some but not all are just straight up black) also some commander shields (like the lepoard warrior shields) are black with the bare outline of a scorpion, looks like there's supposed to be color?
Theplahunter *Spitfire 22 Aug, 2017 @ 11:49am
Ok so what i've noticed so far for the roman faction: Praetorians and Praetorian guard are missing bodies, have generic heads with no helmets, and their shields are black. Legionaries and Legionary Cohorts have black shields and (this is probably intentional) not all of them have the lorica segmentum (for the Cohorts). The Eagle Cohorts centurion shield is also black (actually all cent shields are), along with some of the Evocati cohorts old scutum shields being black/a ugly brown.

The Spartans and the Lusitani seem fine though except for the Scutarii spearmen like Brycen said, which are missing their torsos and thighs. Not all of them though, just about half.
Lord Brycen 22 Aug, 2017 @ 10:29am
After playing every faction, it appears the Iberians are effected. The Scutarii units (spear and sword) are missing around 2/3 of their bodies
djamesds 22 Aug, 2017 @ 2:22am
Pretorians dont have body in my game, Some officers too
Thunderbolt II  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 8:57pm
Lord Brycen, can you please tell me which units don't have bodies? Is it in every unit? Do you have all the DLC's expansions installed? That's DLC's, not my other parts.
Lord Brycen 21 Aug, 2017 @ 12:27pm
Love it. I have all 4 parts now and the shields are perfect. However, I get random units without bodies. Anyone else having the same issue? Even with no other mods installed it still has blank unit bodies
Dibastian 21 Aug, 2017 @ 12:01pm
will it work with the latest dei?
Dunkleosteus 21 Aug, 2017 @ 10:52am
it crashes with dei 1.2.2 so i use the old version Notitia Dignitatum 2.0
Hatefig 21 Aug, 2017 @ 10:27am
Vasco, I am quite certain this is a pure graphical mod, at least the previous versions used to be. Your velites routing is probably an issue on your end, or another mod.
HugoJR 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:59am
nice mod just theres too many bugs
