Good job---Charlene geller
the lighting is v.good, I think i should move you up my list a bit ;)
Unfortunately I've been hitting a snag with personal time management, but I'm considering starting another house / manor project soonish. In any case, to answer a few well placed questions, I lack the scripting talent to make your spouse / adopted children move in with you. Therefore Seviseth Manor is, and will always remain,
A MAN HOUSE!
I look for several things - ease of going and getting through the house.
The ability to upgrade my spoils.
The ability to create my own.
(I supply my followers with Dragon Amour and weapons. They are enchanted as well. I do not want them dying on me, when I choose to use them.)
Location - Location - Location. I like to stash - repair - upgrade my spoils and keep them in the local HOLDS so I can trade/sell and such and keep the $$ in that given HOLD villages and cities.
BOTTOM LINE: A+ .. very very nice.
Thank you so much for the mod
Ah well, you can't have everything, can you?
You're probably right. The story still have the option freeing Valerica, and will probably create a conflict somehow.
I can try installing your mod when I have finished the main storyline (after killing Lord Harkon), and let Valerica stay in the Soul Cairn. At least I think it wouldn't work at the same time.
As for the 'Spouse Can Live Anywhere-mod': I don't know if it works properly.
I tested it with the 'Bluecreek Estate', but that was before I installed the 'Moving Family Bug' mod (it looks like it was a controverse with the scripting for Breezehome and Lakeview Manor that messed things up).
I intentionally made this house with less mannequin/weapon plaque stuff, made it more like a luxorious home that some really rich bloke actually owned once. The main purpose was to provide a maximum comfortable looking home for the weary adventurer, regardless of class or background.
Regarding moving in with a spouse and childred, this mod does not include scripts for that, and I am sorry about this. It proved too complex for me to work out. To the best of my understanding there is a mod out there that allows a spouse to move in with you anywhere, but don't bet your coin on that.
The mod is compatible with the official addons, but not the additional features (children). Keep posting ideas or comments if something is broken or you would like to see some addition, I will take it into consideration when building the next version out of this!
Will it function like the other house where you can live with your spouse and children (children bedroom)?
The place looks really great. Lots of space, nice atmospheare. Not at all just a player home for warriors, but a home you can relax in.
I must say that some decoratinal decisions, such as the carpets and piled shelves, are there just to illustrate how loaded this Seviseth guy was :D The idea of having nice storage options close to the crafting spots is a good one, I will think about adding that later on. I'm just trying to be very to keep the house looking like it could actually fit into the vanilla world, with a heavier average of detail, of course. Let's see how things develop :)
