From when I last looked this was no longer working correctly. I do not plan to update it anytime soon with my schedule so I appreciate the visits and downloads but suggest you try another farm. That said If anyone fixes it let me know. Would love to see it working again.

As far as I can tell, the switch outside the crafting room turns on some lights that don't prevent mods from spawning, but enough to light up the spawning areas so at least you can see

i dont understand what settings both levers have to be on because when i switched one loads of mobs started spawning but now they have stopped

It's not going to work I've tested it. I then went to my other smaller mob farm to see if that was working. It's only corruption layers there and it worked. The first three times I went to it. Then without me changing anything it has suddenly stopped working. Which its completly strange to me. It should have simply not worked if they'd changed how things functioned. But instead . . . yeah. For now I'm afraid corrption is a layer that's not working. I'm on and off playing with the level distance but for now I'm sorry all that layer is broken in this setup.

I'll be sure to try that out when I have the time, I'll try shifting my layers up and break them to 2 types and see if that makes a difference

Yeah since I changed al the layers to be one type instead of 4 different ones my corruption layer hasn’t worked either. I’ve moved the snow layer to the top and I’m in the process of taking down all the other layers and splitting them back up into 4 types per level. You can wait on my results before doing that or you can give it a try yourself. Not sure why that would have hurt the spawns but it’s the only thing I changed from the last working design besides the order of layers.

If anyone is still using the old design and it’s working please let me know.

I'm also having the "no spawn" issue on my corruption layers, looks like the sand layer is also not spawning anything other than seashells, but the hardened lava and snow levels are working fine, i wonder why that is. I followed instructions exactly and built at height 88 at claim corner

Hmm yeah, thats really strange. Let me know how your test on another world turns out if you go that route.

It's funny you mention the two floor spawner idea, as that's actually what I had done, right before making my initial post. I manually built (without the aid of a blueprint) a 2-story single chunk spawner, using only corruption stone. It's on the correct Y-Level and everything, but the issue persists. Creatures just aren't spawning. I think the only other option I have at this point, is to test it out on another world, and see if the server is the issue.

You might want to lower the ceiling height of the bottom floor so that all the floors line up with the chunks correctly. But before you do that I want to say I have no idea if that will work as I've never experieced that problem at all. You could maybe test it on two levels and see if those do better or not before changing the other levels. Was it one working perfectly for a long time? If so then it may be a totally different unknown issue.

Hey Raven, thanks for responding. I can say that some times it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It appears that if we run far enough away to unload the chunks, then run back (not teleport it will work for a night or two. Afterwards, it'll stop working for most of the time. If we log out in the claim, and log back in, we have an even harder time getting the monsters to spawn. And to answer you questions, yes, I am to owner of the claim and sole admin. Now, I will be honest, when we built the spawner, we built it a single block higher, than you suggested, but I didn't think it would cause this issue. Can you confirm? Thank you.

Hey Boop I just logged in and checked and the mob indicator lights loaded within seconds of me porting in. So mobs had formed on 3 levels. I then slept to make it night and within 10 seconds I had 2 mobs drop down. It doesn't always happen this fast but it did tell me its still working. Was this a farm that was working for you in the past already and just suddenly stopped? If so are you teh solo admin for the claim?

Anyone been having problems, recently, with mobs not spawning in this thing? I've made a large and a small version, side by side, and nothing in 3 days and nights.
