Brazil flag ?

Hi, I think I will load in workshop a mod like yours. T
My mod add the Italian, German, and Japanese flag. I do my flag by myself.

SANTINO, I'm pretty sure it's, F3>Service>Skirmish>Skirmish Flag> Skirmish Flag. Unless it's changed in this version.

how to use this mod. In editor i don't find a flag.

I was trying to add one of my own flags to the mod for myself, how do I make the image compatible?

Medic, the extra flags are there in case map makers want to use them for their own levels. Additionally, some of the flags are intended to replace those of other mods.

This is one of the greatest mods I've ever seen. But I have a question, why are there flags of countries doesn't exist in the game?

The Iron Cross is a bit overdone and has links to many other things, whereas the Fasces IMO even historically represents some of the main aspects of Fascist/National Socialist collectivism and authoritarian politics and views.
This I truly believe would set the mod a bit apart and improve on it, but regardless it is your mod and choice, cheers!

Jarl Wuterich, not a bad idea, but I tend to associate the Fasces with most specifically Italy than the entirety of the Axis. Although it definitely could work as a potential replacement.

The reason for the iron cross for the Axis side flag is that I had to pick a symbol which represented the entire Axis, not just the Germans. I felt that having, say, Japan or Italy use the swastika for their flag wouldn't look right if you weren't playing with Germany on their side. In the end, I picked the iron cross because it seemed simple and symbolic enough, since as far as I know, the Axis as a whole didn't have a symbol. Using a swastika would imply to me that the entire Axis was made up of Nazis.

That's because putting the selection mode on Alliance forces you to use the generic "Axis" flag, because it uses faction flags rather than national flags for control points. You can't play with alliances if you want to use nation-specific flags - if I were to replace the "flag#axis" texture with the German flag, then the entire Axis would get German flags on Alliances mode. I had to come up with a single symbol to represent the entire Axis when in Alliances mode, which is why they get the iron cross. If you want each country to have their own national flags, don't play with Alliances enabled.

Hmm. i don't have the army selection mode in skirmish on "Alliances" i get swastika flag. But if i pick alliance mode then i get the "flag#axis.dds" one.

Bonebags, the game is very finnicky about load order, and I'm not precisely sure about how to make mods load to replace other ones. Try this, it worked for me:

1. Disable all mods.
2. Enable RobZ.
3. Enable whatever other mods you want.
4. Enable Flags of War. This should cause it to override the changes of the other mods.

The mod is designed to override all of the RobZ flags, so it should be doing that by default. If not, you can go into the files for RobZ and delete all of the flag textures - that will definitely work, though I can't say whether this will cause missing flags in RobZ as I don't know if there were any added in more recent updates.

Instead of raising a flag with a swastika they raise one with a plain ironcross. how fix?

Are you guys who can't find the flags enabling the mod in the actual game first? I put the flags in the right directory.

Phuripat, got it. An update is planned in the future with all requested flags as well as a few other minor nations I missed.

Alpha, I can for sure add in the Spanish flags! Will probably add in flags for the WWII republic and the Spanish Civil War as well.

Key, of course I included Canada, I'm a Canadian too! Our flag was different during the war - it became the one it is today in 1965. The WWII flag is the rightmost one on the 2nd row in the screenshot.

Shepherd and MarshallMarc, will add Slovakia and the Phillipines when I update next. Specific generals and leaders will likely not be included as that is not in the scope of this mod.

Falcon, if you're referring to the texture files themselves:
For flags in Skirmish, "z_flag_mod\resource\entity\service\skirmish\skirmish_flag\"
For flags in Multiplayer, "z_flag_mod\resource\texture\common\entourage\"
If you're playing with Simple Edition, replace "z_flag_mod" with "z_flag_mod_simple".

Otherwise, they can be found as TexMods in the editor for the flagpole objects.

BlackWolfOne, see my comment on the other version. This doesn't just replace the German flags as with SpeedWolf's mod, it replaces the flags of all countries and adds many more.

You certainly got this idea from speedwolf a tutorial video would have been more useful but it is just my opinion.

The point was to make it easy for others if they don't know how to mod and to keep all of these flags together in a simple place, and to replace old flags with better quality ones. This wasn't made with multiplayer in mind anyway.

Didn't speedwolf did this? but his mod work without a out of sync error. what is the point to yours? as it seem pointless if you know how to mod in the first place.
