Hey I played through this mod, and enjoyed it, but the AI was a bit broken. They all had negative gold and couldn't field very big armies. I was playing it on king difficulty as Russia if that helps at all.

@Mighty_Devil_1 I agree with you on all points, though I'm pretty sure that if this took place a googolplex* years from now, the earth would be considerably less earthlike than we know it now, as it would be most likely frozen at best, and star food at the most likely, and worst. :)

That said, it doesn't take away from the general "rightness" of your post.

All it says is that it is a future Earth, meaning 1 milisecond from now or 1 googolplex years from now. Then theres the fact that in the backstory he says that a Nuclear War had lead to continent shifts and deformities in the continents, meaning that they WILL look different from the real world. So to all those hating on this mod, go hate on another mod with some reason to hate. I didn't even look at the map and I know that whatever it is is that it WILL be EXACTLY what I had expected from the backstory and title. It might not be as good as I might like, but there is always IGE if I don't like something in the terrian. (IGE = Ingame Editor)

People dont seem to realize that at this very moment all the continents are drifting away from each other and heading towards each other on the other side of the globe, forming a different "Pangea". After some time afterwards the continents would then break up again and go back to where they are now, then back to the first Pangea, then rinse and repeat. While this would take quite a loooooong time, it van happen before Earth dies along with the sun in 4 billion years, espically with the help of Nuclear war. Also, as I have been reading through these comments, many people are saying that this cant happen in a thousand years or 100 thousand years, and my only response to that is "Where does it say that it takes place that short into the future?"

I think the whole entire wolrd should become part of japan and then focus on colonizing other planets for example Mars or (I do know this is not a planet) but also the moon, leading to be able to find other civilizations then staying grounded like a plane in a blizzard and killing ourselves. Delete this map.

You people are right, it is a game, it is fiction and it is all just made up but you are forgetting one thing. This map is given a story of our real planet not some fictional planet/map. When it was named "Future EARTH" with the first two words in the description as "THE EARTH" it was related to real life. If it was labled it as an "Alternate Earth" or some such and didn't include a story about nuclear war causing continent shift that doesn't hold any water (no pun) then I bet the flack wouldn't be there. The entire point a backstory is to get us involved and immersed in what we are doing. Therefore it's not a surprise when people get up in arms over one that either completely not possible or dosn't give enough of a story to B.S. its way though.

@crunchy_nut not realy the amount of ICBM'S to do that to earth dosent even exist and the amount of uranium on Earth isnt enough. Yes you'r right paritly but there are nuclear bunkers that would survive and if they have enough food (UV lights on plants for food and oxygen, and be on top of a mountain so they have solar panles for power) the could theroeticly survive untill the radiation is all gone.

looks like Earth in the process of the switch from Pangaea to present day Earth. Oh and the author of this mod needs to go to english class for 10 days, because he spelled Pangaea wrong

Australia in the future wasn't close to the Antarctic, India maybe dissapeared down himalayas, Africa would be break into the Riff, and the Arabian Peninsula would be Arabian Island. This is a no real (possible) future Earth

pjk, it is not possible without a thousand years. The coastlines of the world have not changed as much as this in the last 200 thousand years. If anything, the continents would be further apart. That said decent idea.
