Fun fact: they actually tried doing something like this in real life before, the Neoplan Jumbocruiser. It never entered mass-production tho, and only a handful of units were produced.

Interestingly, while most had a single-double-single axle layout with the engine in the front section (puller), the last unit built had a single-single-double axle layout with the engine in the rear section (pusher).

As for the Roadwhale here, I kinda doubt something like this could be built in real life given the absolutely massive bi-articulated double-deck design and the complexities it will involve. It might work in a science-fiction-themed city tho with more fantastical elements, perhaps as part of a futuristic BRT system.

I subscribed to it to road test it before you posted and it seemed to be working for UK as well. I'm developing a new city and considering the bus option so I should be able to check again soon.
