That stands for Glow, some people didnt like the glow on the Generators so i made ones with and without glow.
shiva chirr 10 Jun, 2018 @ 11:21pm
question whats the [G] tag on the geothermals
General M-13  [author] 30 May, 2018 @ 2:54am
For Alpha 17 yes, For Alpha 18 and up? No
Wolfhound88 29 May, 2018 @ 7:08pm
Does this still work?
General M-13  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 3:19am
- Renamed textures folder to Textures.
- Added update.txt to Texture folder to force steam to update foldername

This hopefully fixes the Texture issue for Linux users!

Cheers, no worries.
General M-13  [author] 17 Nov, 2017 @ 11:51pm
when and if i have time for it. sorry <3
pancakelicious 17 Nov, 2017 @ 11:11pm
Will you be releasing a version of this for A18?
General M-13  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:50am
People with understanding on how modding the game works can always edit the buildings to suit their own needs.
If people want unlimited power there's always the Dev Mode options, it has "Unlimited Power" in there lol
Fruitn 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:48am
Or you could just edit the def file to change what power it produces?
Schlagschinken 21 Aug, 2017 @ 3:21am
yeah. i gonna use your mod later when i know i have enough energy. because i like the glowwing more. it was just a small idea.
General M-13  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 2:36am
My mod aims to be fair and balanced, it's not aiming to produce the most power ;) @Schlagschinken [GER], i personally found that geothermal to cheap in the building cost.
Schlagschinken 20 Aug, 2017 @ 11:34am
cool mod but.. the last version isnt so usefull when you use advanced energetics. because that geotherm generator produces 7500W. but still a nice idea and i gonna use them as decoration later :3

===================================================================
Small Note For everyone that have/had Glow & No-Glow versions of the mods installed.
===================================================================
After updating this mod to it's latest version,
you should be able to safely uninstall the "No-Glow version" of my mod
(Which is also no longer available on the steam workshop)
You will get an error popping up because i removed the research related to the no-glow Generators
This is perfectly normal and will not destroy your save.

You're welcome @stellar, maybe when the game gets older/better they might implement upgrading of structures and such.
Stellar ❤️💙💛 15 Aug, 2017 @ 8:57pm
Thanks for trying :)
General M-13  [author] 15 Aug, 2017 @ 1:37pm
I saw a mod that allows you to upgrade your walls, but all that does is have your colonists break down the excisting wall and then build the new one, which still gets you lost resources.
But like i said: if i find out a way to make this possible i will ;)
General M-13  [author] 15 Aug, 2017 @ 1:25pm
I am not sure if that is possible @stellar, i will have to research that.
I'm fairly new to modding Rimworld and i'm still learning, but as soon as i find out how to do it i will update the mod accordingly

would like to see feature that allow updating current generators step by step all the way to best, instead of wasting tons of resources by completely deconstructing everything first if want better model. This wish goes to all your power related stuff.
General M-13  [author] 14 Aug, 2017 @ 11:06am
Glad you like the new textures
lloki 14 Aug, 2017 @ 9:19am
Much better now :)
Fruitn 12 Aug, 2017 @ 12:34pm
Steam geysers are easy to add, as all you need to do is paying a visit to the dev mode.
General M-13  [author] 8 Aug, 2017 @ 11:58am
@lloki Changed textures, hopefully they fit into the game a lot more now :D
Elkstone 8 Aug, 2017 @ 11:00am
"Tiered GeoThermals" would be a good name for this
General M-13  [author] 8 Aug, 2017 @ 4:16am
I will see if i can fiddle a bit with the textures to make them look a bit more "lore friendly"
General M-13  [author] 8 Aug, 2017 @ 4:15am
The Textures were done by a friend of mine and the mod started out as a test to see what i could achieve lol. I wrote this mod in like 3 hours XD
lloki 8 Aug, 2017 @ 3:04am
Nice mod, but I don't like these colours. Maybe you can just change the geothermal texture? (add more vents or something to actually make it look more cool). PS. There is a mod to create geysers already :P http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=722086956&searchtext=laser+drill
General M-13  [author] 8 Aug, 2017 @ 2:38am
Owh you were requesting a mod that allows you to create geysers?
Sorry i think that is above my skill level haha, that might actually require making a Library and i am not that good (yet)
Dez The Dapper Bocchi 8 Aug, 2017 @ 2:21am
*moisture
Dez The Dapper Bocchi 8 Aug, 2017 @ 2:21am
make it be like a really expensive moutire vaporizer?
General M-13  [author] 8 Aug, 2017 @ 2:12am
In my oppinion being able to create extra steam geysers would be really OP
Dez The Dapper Bocchi 8 Aug, 2017 @ 1:04am
a way to make more vents i remember a mod but it was A16 or A15
Sugar Cuddles<3 7 Aug, 2017 @ 11:14pm
Just what I wanted! Made a new colony yesterday and found only 2 vents on the map. I'll make a new one with right away using this c:
General M-13  [author] 7 Aug, 2017 @ 8:54pm
I did some testing for you @Zaden.
If you have any of the Mod's Geothermals on your map, Deconstruct them before saving your game and removing the mod.
The only error you should recieve is about the Research page not being found, which is gone after you save your game without the mod installed.
Ned 7 Aug, 2017 @ 8:15pm
is this save compatible?
