There are a lot of new songs, mostly to the USA, including the obligatory Johny Horton's "Sink the Bismarck" in celebration of Man the Guns. I *may* get around to providing a newly updated list if I can find it (I was in the middle of an extensive move when I last worked on this project).

Updated to 7.1.x using the existing in-game stations. Overall, I really like the new changes and fits this mod perfectly and will have great influence over the future direction of the series. What I would like to do is create country-specific channels as well, to keep in the spirit of the original project, as well as ideological-focused channels. I would like to then broaden it to niche channels also (e.g., marches, Christmas songs). Using this system, a particular song can appear on more than one channel (e.g., Bing Crosby's White Christmas can appear with the Allies channel, the Christmas Channel, and the USA channel simultaneously, each with different rules).

I'm just now getting around to updating this. Had some significant RL events that got in the way, PhD dissertation, moving 300 miles, starting a new career, etc. I am doing a quick pass to use the existing channel structure to adapt the mod. Moving forward, I will parse out some very fine channel selection options. Update later today!

@_Decks_ could you please update your music mods? Paradox updated the music system to have different radio sections that you can turn on or off and contain certain songs which had made all music mods incompatible.

@HellRipper Thanks for your feedback. I have verified the historical accuracy of your recommendations and included a fix in the next update.

I am excited for your next update and might is ask if this update will include the "Washington Post" , "National Emblem" march, "Army Air Corps" march with lyrics, and Marine Corps Hymn with lyrics?

The next update will further flesh out the Polish song list, and include a large USA update just in time for Man the Guns!

Ver. 1.2.0 included suggestions by @Somenavalperson, as well as a complete rewrite of the backend of the mod that will allow for more granular updates by country. I am considering removing the orchastra/cinematic elements and placing them in a separate mod.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like it. I will certainly add the Ottoman Anthem. Great suggestion. I have a queue of songs to add, got a little busy with RL and other projects this week. I have no problem using the mod whole or in part with proper credit.

@_Decks_ - I have to say, this is without a doubt the best music mod I've encountered on the workshop. I won't forget the time I loaded a save that I had made as Germany in December 1943. After bitter fighting and more than 4 million casualties for both sides, I finally had to pause for the winter. And when I loaded the save, News from the Front played and I just couldn't deal.

I also added God Save the King by Request and Improved the Hail Britania to a track with a much better recording. Lastly, my favorite US song of the War (but actually a WWI song), "Over There."

Thanks! From one WW II to another, that is the entire point of this mod. Haunting hymms, patriotic marches, French Partisan Resistance rallying cries... This mod is a small attempt to paint the broad flavor of the Second World War.

These sort of mods that add such immersion features such as music in this case, is the type of stuff i love as a WWII buff. When I play HOI, i want to be transported to that time period. Keep up the good work!!!! :D

Yes, I've gotten permission to fold in some country specific mods as well. The description is hastily written, but there are some alternate history options available as well. For example, France has some music that only triggers if it is Communist, and so forth. Keeping an eye out for eclectic music like that as well. Many of the music score type of tracks are not country specific, unless they are decidedly a flavor of one country or another.
