Unfortunately, it would seem like i can't really continue working on this any longer. Truth to be told, i still have the original map files, but i'm just having other things to work on and i don't feel like i should expand this more. Although, there is a chance that i'm going to make another remake, which i will put much more time into. I've learned a lot since i started mapping years ago, i would feel like it's an okay trade-off to start all over again, but to actually make it nice aswell.

Hmm...when you close the first door, it locks. After that you should wait 25 seconds, and the game would automatically restart. When you get to the boss's office, you should find a keypad behind his desk, where you enter the code. I have already explained why i'm using no narration, you should find it in one of the comments below.

I closed the first door, but there was no narration or restart or anything. I was just stuck there, forced to restart manually.

Well, i didn't want to use TSP content (and it's narrator since copyright). I'm no narrator and i don't know who i could ask. Also, the story is about an unnamed person, there is no point of having a narration in the background

the Madness ending, as you said, you need to walk a full circle to get this inifiite looping effect. Also, to open the passageway you need to enter the code into the keypay near the boss's desk. If you don't know the code, then watch a real TSP playthrough

also, the first map is finished which means that i won't update it so much. But if you'd like, after this is complete, i can rework it to aperture style.

getting close could mean that it's a crossover between the 2 games. Right now im just trying to get the layout working. Also as said it's out for playtesting. Please write your suggestions in the discussion, and i'm going to implement it.

And anothier thing, the original was different from The Stanley Parable. It felt like an Aperture version, albeit a very plain one, and it felt original. I liked that. Perhaps put a few Aperture-y looking things in the hallways of the original, and then I'd like that map best! Or you could put a few things in the hallways that makes it seem like a cross between The Stanley Parable and a giant test chamber...

I really liked the original, esopecially now I found the secret ending! You just need to put more stuff in the hallways in the original map, like different wall textures and desks and stuff. That was the only criticism anyone gave, and if you do that people will stop complaining.

Portal 2 doesn't have many good tile textures, i only found one that would be fitting. On the other hand, i found some useful conrete textures for the walls. I'm going to implement those, and we'll see if it's better
