mod crashes the game
Caerlocc  [author] 26 Jul, 2013 @ 6:34pm
That's because you don't have the required smithing perk(s). And these armors are all already in Dawnguard, so use any item info for the wiki for console commands. Or just type "help itemname" in the console.
Jbob420 26 Jul, 2013 @ 10:55am
what r the console commands dor the items because the armors arent showing up in the forge.

Caerlocc  [author] 10 Jun, 2013 @ 1:02pm
It's been quite some time since I've worked with it, but I am fairly sure it adds both variants of the crown (the base one and a new, armored version).

Idt I will add normal falmer crafting; I'm sure there are mods for that and it's not quite as rare.
Arrow Albert 9 Jun, 2013 @ 6:57pm
Does this add a new identical crown or does this replace the dawnguard version?
Also could you add normal falmer armor?
HT-0311 24 Mar, 2013 @ 9:54am
I love that new Falmer Armor I found the original Falmer Armor in Mzlift...or how it called and wear it all the time. (Like the Falmer Armour and Wep)
Caerlocc  [author] 22 Feb, 2013 @ 5:45pm
Yes.... all of these armors are included in DG, I just added them to the crafting menu.
styc 22 Feb, 2013 @ 5:39pm
wait did u need dawnguard dlc or didnt you? :3
Caerlocc  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 10:08pm
May just take it out altogether...
Caerlocc  [author] 3 Dec, 2012 @ 8:48pm
Ok, I tried it out, and my head (just head) disappeared. I'll look into a solution :P Hopefully it's something simple.
Caerlocc  [author] 3 Dec, 2012 @ 8:44pm
you're good. Ok, I will check it out.
Conflagration Law Officer 2 Dec, 2012 @ 3:51pm
The normal crown works fine for me. Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes on this comment and my previous one.
Caerlocc  [author] 2 Dec, 2012 @ 12:22pm
Huh. Ok thanks, I'll check it out. Does the normal crown behave fine?
Conflagration Law Officer 2 Dec, 2012 @ 11:01am
When I put the crown Armored, my body disappears. BTW cool mod keep it up!
Caerlocc  [author] 28 Nov, 2012 @ 9:52pm
Update: Now includes Ancient Falmer Armor with glass smithing perk. All in game armor is added (so both cuirasses, and crown), and adds a new, standalone crown variant that functions as a light helm to complete the set. Matches glass helm stats.
Xiianil 28 Nov, 2012 @ 9:34pm
hmmm, but to never see it? maybe one of my other mods buggered it up? ah well won't matter now. Good on ya for making this.
Caerlocc  [author] 28 Nov, 2012 @ 8:59pm
Yeah. It's realllly damn rare, I first discovered it on the wiki. Finally saw some on my level 30+ DG vamp quest run, on a couple of falmer. Still no heavy though, and not a full set.
Xiianil 28 Nov, 2012 @ 8:58pm
Really? With all of my lvl 81's I've never gotten to see this! Pretty damn sweet. You sir, have gotten yourself another subscriber.
Caerlocc  [author] 28 Nov, 2012 @ 8:57pm
So yes, that picture is possible with this mod. Or just vanilla Dawnguard. It's just hard to find.
Caerlocc  [author] 28 Nov, 2012 @ 8:56pm
No. That IS the armor in the mod. It's in dawnguard already, but it only spawns on high level falmer, and getting a full set of either version is hard. This makes them craftable.
Xiianil 28 Nov, 2012 @ 8:45pm
So to be clear... the armor in the picture is not the armor in the mod? You just made better versions of the existing falmer armor?
Caerlocc  [author] 24 Nov, 2012 @ 2:10pm
-_- This is just a crafting recipe for an existing armor. If you want more pics, search "Falmer Armor" on google or on the skyrim wiki's around the net.
BuckleTheGamerHD 24 Nov, 2012 @ 12:35pm
more pictures please
Caerlocc  [author] 24 Nov, 2012 @ 9:51am
The mod that crashed might have a DG version, most that have that kind of problem do.
Almond Eye 23 Nov, 2012 @ 11:15pm
Badass. Need i say more?
Pramienjager 23 Nov, 2012 @ 9:24pm
Well Azeal, Beth got my 10 bux thanx to you, I am going to check out your armors now. I am sad though because it seems to have broken another favorite mod of mine (not your mod the dawnguard DLC)
Caerlocc  [author] 23 Nov, 2012 @ 11:02am
Vandeta, this armor is in dawnguard already; I just made it craftable. And I can't make it for vanilla Skryim becuase that would be breaking EULA of Creation Kit/Skryim. It is pretty sweet though. Also, Dawnguard is only $10 today, so if you were on the fence, today is a good chance to pick it up.
Merdarion 23 Nov, 2012 @ 10:45am
is soo cool armor
Merdarion 23 Nov, 2012 @ 10:44am
cann you make this not for dawnguard for classic skyrim pls
BLOOD PLUS 23 Nov, 2012 @ 5:11am
The Dragonborn DLC. Is something you should buy. If you haven't bought any of the DLC. This is definitely one you SHOULD buy.
Caerlocc  [author] 23 Nov, 2012 @ 2:20am
@Bedouin that is how you get it in Vanilla dawnguard; it just only spawns on stronger Falmer, and at higher levels. So it's a rare find.

@src No, creating a non-DG version would break terms of use of CK. You can't mod in content from DLC to the vanilla game. Sorry :P Although, DG is worth it in general. The questline is pretty interesting (much more than the main plot vs. Alduin, minus the end), there are cool areas, and the side quest they add with the Aetherium forge is pretty sweet as well. Also, cool magical items. I don't think it will beat the Dragonborn DLC, but it is pretty damn solid.
The Saharan In The Rain ☔ 22 Nov, 2012 @ 7:59pm
Really nice. If you haven't already, you should add it to the leveled lists for random hostile Falmer!
Pramienjager 22 Nov, 2012 @ 7:02pm
I almost want to buy dawn guard just to check out this armor. Is there any chance that a NON-dawnguard version exist, or could be made?

Caerlocc  [author] 22 Nov, 2012 @ 6:34am
The CTD is usually a result of not having the right assets for the mod. IE you don't have dawnguard. If that isn't the case, idk if it's this mod or something else; all the other assets I use are based off of existing stuff only. If you do have DG, I blame another mod or a bad mod conflict.
ronr42 22 Nov, 2012 @ 5:02am
Yeah, it was Aurial's shield I was referring to. Just the Ancient Falmer armor would be great
gehmywehmy 21 Nov, 2012 @ 8:59pm
Great Idea, looks really cool. though for some reason this mod for me doesnt allow me to play skyrim, the game turn on for 5 sec then back to desktop. any comments?
Caerlocc  [author] 21 Nov, 2012 @ 2:20pm
Actually, that sounds like a good idea. Although I'm not sure what shield you're talking about.....I'm defs not going to add Auriel's shield as a craftable. Are you talking about the normal falmer shield? It's not very hard to find; lots of Falmer have it...
ronr42 21 Nov, 2012 @ 6:38am
Glad you created this mod. Is there any chance you could add the Ancient Falmer Armor and Shield to this?
robertent13 20 Nov, 2012 @ 4:07pm
hey man do u think u can make like ironman armor jw cuz i think it woild be cool dose anyone else agree?
Caerlocc  [author] 20 Nov, 2012 @ 9:52am
I seached the workshop the other day, and couldnt find any. Was appalled. 30 min later, mod ready for upload.
ChozoSR388 20 Nov, 2012 @ 6:40am
@Azeal I know I've been waiting for craftable Falmer armor :D
Caerlocc  [author] 20 Nov, 2012 @ 6:33am
Heavy Falmer Armor has about the same stats as ebony armor, so it works for high level chars.
robertent13 20 Nov, 2012 @ 6:31am
i think this i kinda cool the armor works grate for my level 81 i like this mod thank u very much Azeal
Caerlocc  [author] 19 Nov, 2012 @ 8:54pm
Actually, I based each armor off of the shellbug helm; which only used chitin and iron ingots. I didn't put it under elven, because I think that would be a bit too early to unlock. Thanks for the feedback though, if more people request changes like that I'll do 'em.
Onyin-nyin 19 Nov, 2012 @ 8:26pm
Since Falmer are Elves, wouldn't it make sense to have the smithing perk and tab classification be Elven as well? Also, the crafting recipe might be better (in my opinion) to also require some leather? Otherwise, nice start!
robertent13 18 Nov, 2012 @ 5:06pm
18 people bro 18 and i know why is it only 18
Caerlocc  [author] 18 Nov, 2012 @ 2:42pm
@The Boss I made it at 3:00 PM central time a day ago. Honestly, I'm surprised it's jumped up so fast. In one day 100+ subs? Wow.
