It's not a problem with activating it, Steam just doesn't install mods for me 90% of the time - it downloads the files sometimes and I can move them myself, but that's a rare occurance, which thankfully was the case this time.

So I got the files moved over from the temp download folder and activated it, and while I love the extra beef that ships have, it get's really annoying when ships just circle around the outer edge of a sector until they eventually die 10 minutes later (This is due to the "retreat" mechanic that ships have when their shields go down). Other than that, when it's two large fleets going at it, it's oh so satisfying.

@JECJoker did you activate the mod after the download?
for this game you have to activate mods with the game very own 'Configurationtool'

Could I get an alternative download? Steam workshop refuses to download mods for me

how does this effect bounty missions? I imagine they will suddenly become much more difficult
