Doom 64, I would consider this to be the predecesor of system shock 2, and a predecesor of the bioshock series. Not of course for how things function in game, but for the atmosphere it invokes and the level design. Just don't play this game on an lcd, because even with the in game brightness up at max, you won't be able to see jack shit. I would reccomend using a crt, with svideo, if you want the easiest route.

Yaaa I never cared for the Xbox anyway, it was just for some RP I did with my friends.

Ok in my opinion I think the Xbox 360 is the most overated piece of garbage , and to see one of my favorite doom game for it just makes me want to vomit.

you should make a mod were you can use an xbox and put in the game doom 64! :)

ok, Doom 64 wasn't the worst game ever. but the enemy sprites arent very great, they were well done, but didn't age well, and barely resembled classic Doom enemies, the level design had some flaws and it's impossible to even see 5 inches in front of you in the game since the lighting is almost nonexistent. If you can get past that, however, it's a pretty fun game.

Ok, c'mon people, Doom 64 wasnt HORRIBLE. yeah, it wasnt the best game, but the thing that made it cool was that it was released in 64 bit; I thing it was cool in my opinion. To those of you saying it SUCKED, the game was already released 17 years ago and their is nothing you can do about it.

But...Why would you ever port Doom 64? One, it sucked, and two, the whole point of it was to be an N64 exclusive.
