I will wait to see if this mod is fixed, I destroy, The dark Brotherhood on every playthrough and I would Really like to totally wipe out the thieves Guild. I dislike not being able to play a good and noble character and dislike leaving an evil guild behind when I play!

@ Harbringer...Question.....I was running rko's "Destroy the theives guild" mod (prior to its removal from Steam and the Thieves are All DEAD except for Delvin who hides in the Inn and Maven who is Jarl now ( she's your typical jarl so I dont mind her "nose in the air" atitude" oh and Vekel ( he's still the Barkeep in the Flagon. I get a load error every time my game goes looking for that mod ( easily bypassed). but I was wondering if I replace rko's mod with yours would they stay that way?....I ABSOLUTELY do NOT want to start my game again.....just them DEAD and the theif questline over.

Unfortunately rko took down his mod and had it removed from Steam so I HOPE you will complete your work on this mod......I DETEST the theives questline and the fact that you are RR"D into being a Thief with rko's mod I only had to deal with Brynjolf once ( to find esbern ) and then I could kill him (and them ) off.........Fortunately I have already gotten rid of the thieves guild through his mod but if I ever have to do a complete reload if skyrin ( mods and all) I'll be looking forf your work.

What I wish I could do in game, a fan scene by me:

Dragonborn: I need to see Maven Black-Briar,, now.

Guard: Oh,, why is that, Did someone steal your sweet roll?

Dragonborn: (puts his hand on his sword hilt) Do you really think someone would steal Anything from me?

Guard: No, I suppose not,, come with me dragonborn

(the guard leads the dragonborn to the throne room, maven black-briar sits

Maven: Greetings Dragonborn, how may I assist you

Dragonborn: I come bearing gifts my yarl,, a present for you

Maven: well now, this is an unexpected pleasure, what gift do you bring

The dragonborn opens a large canvas sack, one by one he removes the heads of Brynjolf, Delvin Mallory, Dirge, Sapphire, Vex, and Rune and places them on the floor at Mavens feet

Maven: What is the meaning of this

Dragonborn: What do you think it means,

Dragonborn: dont bother sending any messages, I got rid of the Dark Brotherhood, what do you think ill do to your errand boys?

What would be VERY cool, is if you could take the severed heads of members of the theives guild. take them to Maven Black Briar, drop them on the floor in front of her pompous throne as a warning,, Not say a word, just drop them and leave.

If guard dialogue reporting the fall of the Thieves Guild was added, as it was when you destroy the Dark Brotherhood ... heh, now that would be great. Nothing like boasting in Skyrim. "I killed the Thieves Guild! Haha, because all you boring NPCs are too weak to try!" Despite the fact that I once tried to frame Bryngolf and got in some huge trouble ...

me like! i always wanted a character that was honest and wanted to clean up skyrim (cause honestly its boring when you lead the guild and the brotherhood yet being the noble heroic dragonborn)
you should make the quest when brynjolf tells you to steal madesi's ring and you get to report him to the authorities, and the guards tell you there's a reward for anyone who kills the thieves guild,
but hey, your mod, i cant wait to see what you will update!!!!

I'll keep an eye on this and hope you improve it. Killing Maven is iffy because if you side with Imperials, that twat gets placed on Riften's throne. I'm not going to subscribe to this (yet) because I have a mod installed that lets me kill any Essential-marked NPC if I strike them enough times when they kneel, which basically is the same thing your mod does. Now if you ever make this a proper quest (as it should have been in the vanilla game since everyone outside the Guild hates the Guild) then hell yes I will subscribe. As long as I don't see a lot of reports of it being buggy. XD;

Well its about time somebody got the BALLS to make this quest I hated doing the assasin quest more ( liked Killing em tho)Hope you can do a good job at this....My PC is currently the guildmaster but he lets Brynjolf run the guiold.

Sorry. You do what you want. I know this is all complicated. I can't do it myself or I would have by now. There are a lot of quests I'd like to fix.

Can you do a bounty reward? You could model it after the "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood" Quest. You get a cash bounty for that one.

Though honestly, if you want to flesh this out you should probably limit yourself to the Thieves Guild itself. Coming at the Black Briar's should require something a bit more fleshed out. They're basically the Skyrim Untouchables.

Wish you luck. I always thought this should have been an option in Skyrim. The only thing is making sure its reflected properly. Remove npc dialog that indicates that the guild still exists. Have an award for dispatching them. Add something to the guard dialog.
