If anybody still cares, I updated the addon and TF2 is no longer required to use the material.
If you have TF2 installed/mounted, you're advised to disable the addon.

But we really need something like that.

The thumbnail kinda looks a bit like some kind of clear metal to me in a way.

Does anyone know why suddenly TF2 materials like this one and Rebbacus' models are not working anymore? Ever since the steam pipe update (or so I'm told) the folders in my Steam folder were relocated to one called "common" instead of the old filepath. The materials also for gold (midas touch) and uber no longer appear on any models I use them on. I can no longer tell if TF2 is mounted either.

Ice material has gray icon, 'models/player/shared/ice_player' line appears when you hover over it.

It should be first in the list if you don't have any other material tools installed.
