This saved my life. Was tired of blindly shooting at people because I didn't have a crosshair

Pan_Man- 5 Feb, 2022 @ 1:45pm
where can i edit the cross hair at?
blue dewey 17 Jan, 2022 @ 11:50am
Simple really is an apt adjective. It's everything you expect from a proper, modern crosshair without any fancy features and cosmetics. I highly endorse it.

Amy  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 5:42pm

midshadowwake 11 Jul, 2019 @ 1:00am
This cross hair.is great. Now I can actually see where i'm aiming and it's easier to place props with the tool gun.

I love this crosshair and there's nothing simple about this crosshair you can see it on pure black and pure white and the fact it reacts to things it makes it fantastic
theaw3s0m39jt 15 Sep, 2018 @ 1:04pm
lol
Amy  [author] 13 Aug, 2015 @ 8:49am
no interest in selling this to you with pictures - this is a very basic crosshair i left up for devs. use buckys
Amy  [author] 7 Feb, 2015 @ 11:51am
WAIT - BUT THERE IS MORE!!! grab a sharpie, and draw a dot in the middle of your damn monitor. win.
Amy  [author] 7 Feb, 2015 @ 11:50am
@Scorcher - they will work on singleplayer, and will work on multiplayer IF THE SERVER HAS SV_ALLOWCSLUA 1 enabled. otherwise you would need a bypasser, and that wouldnt make you many friends tbh. so - in summary - somewhat, yes. but theres nothing better out there, so there you go!
Flaming Skull40 7 Feb, 2015 @ 10:20am
so i need this mod because the hl2 ones are missing so i need to know if these will work in multiplayer and single
Amy  [author] 4 Dec, 2014 @ 3:06pm
@0re0$, it looks like all of your dreams have come true at once, like your most wildest dreams realised in one incredible moment.. nah it jsut looks like a simple crosshair. better than the original. go on my steam workshop and download gzen or buckys
ImalaSimak 5 Nov, 2014 @ 1:21pm
OK nice sorry :D
Amy  [author] 5 Nov, 2014 @ 9:37am
@DistributedWeapon - because this is not my creation and id much rather you use my better versions (buckys or gzen) in my workshop :)
ImalaSimak 26 Oct, 2014 @ 7:54am
no image? why!
Amy  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 3:24pm
Amy  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 2:56pm
the dispositition turned out to be serverside... so im gna upload it currently with blue crosshair for objects, red for npc and green for players - ill call it Bucky's Custom Crosshair keep an eye out for it
Amy  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 2:29pm
ok its basically done - ive written the code to change the crosshair independantly if the target is: the world, a non-world object, a player, an npc and the disposition of the npc to the player. just need to double check colour, accept my steam invite so we can discuss it
Amy  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 11:20am
ok dude, ill see what i can do
Ashley 20 Dec, 2012 @ 10:47am
Looking at friendly. [i48.tinypic.com]
Looking at enemy. [i49.tinypic.com]
Idle. [media.giantbomb.com]
And on my desktop (where I mainly play) 1680x1050. On any other computer I'll probably be dealing with a 16:10 resolution. MAYBE POSSIBLY a 16:9 or 4:3 but in almost rare cases.
Amy  [author] 19 Dec, 2012 @ 10:17pm
also what resolution do you run your screen at and how big do you like your crosshair so i can get a sense of scale.. and do you want the whole crosshair to change colour or just some of it?
Amy  [author] 19 Dec, 2012 @ 10:11pm
shouldnt be a problem with the player detection colours, could you post a URL of a screenshot of the crosshair style your talking about? havent played those games but can put something together from a photo..
Ashley 19 Dec, 2012 @ 8:50pm
If you've played either Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast I'd like a crosshair just like that. (Doesn't have to bobble around on the screen), and it'd be neat if it'd detect friendly and enemy NPCs and mark them accordingly with red and green. Then possibly have other players highlighted in yellow or blue, or possibly their weapon colour. :P
Amy  [author] 19 Dec, 2012 @ 5:08pm
It is just a far more visible dot in four crossed hairs. I dont use this mod anymore, i have further developed it into a full hud replacement for the gamemode im working on. What do you want it to look like? i can write you a crosshair
Ashley 19 Dec, 2012 @ 10:05am
Could you give a screenshot showing the difference between this and the original? Because I don't know if I want it or not. :P
