Ah, ok. Also it's my favourite map out of all that are out there; I have also played your original one for SS:HD, but, this one is entirely different. I absolutely love it! Keep up all the work coming and good luck at croteam.

Sorry, it's kind of an old map of mine, so I no longer update it.

Yeah, heard about that one.

one problem, In Co-op the host is the only one who can see the price and name of the items when you want to buy them.

i would really love to see more survival maps. the original maps are boring only because the variety gets old (killing the same enemies over and over) and having only a limited amount of ammo (which is a pain in the ass) is also what makes it boring. its not like the first encounter where the ammo and weapons would just respawn after a certain period of time. also this is the most unique map i have seen next to "there goes the neighborhood".

Update:

- Harpy Bloodwings spawn slower
- Friendly Arachnoid Hatchling is now reddish colored
- Friendly Arachnoid Adult is now blueish colored (the Friendly Arachnoid Terminator is smaller than the enemy version, that's how it's different)
- Both the Friendlies mentioned above has perfect aim now and increased damage
- All the small Friendly Arachnoids and the one adult one has increased health
- The Arachnoid Grenadier and Seeker shoots more projectiles at once now

That is actually weird. It should be in the Survival levels folder.

Those are enemy scorpions. In the update I'm planning for late December will have the firendly scorpions looking sorta different from the enemy ones.

this is ton's of fun, i might even try get some friends to get the game and get this so we could play, but i noticed something wrong with this map, i dont know if its just my game or what, but the begining of the game, after about 3/5 minutes the scorpions turn on you. its quite annoying.

but other than that its fun.

You subscribe to it and when you start the game in Moddable Mode, it is downloaded automatically.

Great map. Tons of fun. Like Alex said beginning Scorps are pretty useless at this point, and after playing a few rounds with friends we found that other Scorps, permanent or otherise aren't that great of an investment. We lasted longer focusing on Health/Armor/Ammo. There is one bug that we noticed, only the host can see prices and names of purchaseable items. Other than that, everyone gets a "ITEM HAS SPAWNED" message. One of my friends was saying not to buy permanent Scorps since they get locked on one enemy and cannot hit them if they are too close to their tower. I suggest lowering the spawn rate of the Super Harpies. Homing shots are never fun and when playing multiplayer, lag makes them a bit hard to hit, which isn't good when they have such a high base health. That's about it. It is a fun map. Money/Upgrade systems are always fun. Hope to see this polished a bit more in the future.

Well then, I'll revise the Friendly Scorpions in a patch sometimes later.

I wouldn't see to much unbalance in the game, mainly due to the fact that the Albinos and other stronger enemies appear relatively quick. In the case of the Last Stand map you released, the NPC allied soldiers had no trouble dispatching a single Beheaded Rocketeer, and the Scorpion hatchlings apparently have a problem with that, plus the cool down time on their gun firing. But speaking of a full-blown Tower Defense mode, it simply should. This is like the Nazi Zombies of Serious Sam, except I find this a hundred times more enjoyable than Zombies.

I kinda agree, I was thinking about making the Friendly Scorpions to do better damage than their enemy counterparts, but dunno how that would make the gameplay unbalanced. But personally, I barely use the scorpions at all, but maybe they are a lot more useful when there are more than 1 people playing? This map is my greatest experiment in this pack, and I wasn't able to test it well yet, so I decided to release it now, and see the feedback.
I actually have plans about expanding this idea into a full-blown Tower Defense mode.

So far, Scorpion Fort 2 is a great mod. However, the only problem I had so fat were the Allied Scorpions you start off with are weak to almost useless, as in most of the time trying to melee an enemy and a barrage of bullets isn't enough to kill a single Beheaded Rocketeer (I don't expect the Hatchlings to be strong like the aduls, I just expect the bullet damage of the Hatchlings to easily dispatch a Beheaded Soldier in like 5-6 shots).

This looks nice too :)
