I really like the skill, except that techno color hair is too annoying to use because it stops giving me a hair color multiple times per turn. I would love to see the code to see if I could fix the issue.

I am running my life with Permadeath, Carreinated Dodger, Tinkerer, Unarmed Combat and Paranormal Investigator. Hiooo!

How do I download this outside of Steam? I don't have the Steam version of Dredmor.

MrMeows 29 Dec, 2012 @ 1:43pm
Hm... a bit of stat bonus, plus one point of alchemy skill. Interesting.

One for Jesse already exists. It was made by :PC: R_man and it's called "Space Butterfly"
In fact his mod was what gave me the idea to make mods that were themed after YouTubers, that's why I made one for TB and Dodger to complete the trio.
Airah 2 Nov, 2012 @ 12:40am
Are you gonna make one for Jesse? Both this and the TB one were really good.
Gorthor 29 Oct, 2012 @ 5:35am
Sir, i must congratulate you on adding 100% more dodger to DoD
Nerd 25 Oct, 2012 @ 8:47pm
Ah, that one. I shall check it out.
TwoSecond  [author] 25 Oct, 2012 @ 6:52pm
It has actually. In fact I made it. It's called "Knight of Cynishire" if you want to check it out.
Nerd 25 Oct, 2012 @ 4:36pm
I'm suprised one for TB hasn't been made yet.
Remie 23 Oct, 2012 @ 7:26pm
next time i play, ill try it out :) it looks good.
Remie 23 Oct, 2012 @ 7:25pm
aaaaawww yeah.
TwoSecond  [author] 23 Oct, 2012 @ 6:46pm
Thanks man. You do make a valid point though, that the final skills look a bit generic.
SO I fixed them.
Now "Caffeine Tolerance" looks more like you're throwing coffee at your enemies
Hooray!
Remie 23 Oct, 2012 @ 1:23pm
havent tried it yet tho, so i dont really know. other than that good work :P
Remie 23 Oct, 2012 @ 1:22pm
well, i can see where you're coming from, but the final skills, at a glance, are kinda...generic. I'd rather level up my other skills than nerf the ones from this tree.
TwoSecond  [author] 23 Oct, 2012 @ 1:20pm
Well, some of the bonuses seemed a bit overpowered at first. I thought of simply nerfing those bonuses, but I figured it would be more interesting to give the player the choice to nerf them and unlock the last few spells or keep the more powerful bonuses.

Basically, it's up to you if you want to unlock the final skills, but keep in mind that the last spell is quite useful.
Remie 23 Oct, 2012 @ 12:33pm
why lose all your bonuses to a final skill? why get the final skill at all?
TwoSecond  [author] 21 Oct, 2012 @ 8:57pm
All right, after many requests I've made many changes to make this skill less overpowered.
1. I nerfed all of the buffs that you could get from "Add Creamer", they were all just too high
2. I added many more debuffs to the list of buffs that "Add Creamer" could activate. There are now a total of 9 buffs and 8 debuffs on the list.
3. I increased the cooldown of "Add Creamer" from 60 to 99
4. I added "Caffeine Tolerance" which allows you to remove caffeine related debuffs, but at the cost of a debuff in Nimbleness, Health, Melee Power, Sneakiness, and Sight. Hopefully, this balances out some of the other overpowered buffs.

Hopefully this weeds out some of the balancing issues that this skills has been having lately. I did notice that this skill still gives you a significant edge in the first floor, but in later floors the skill should balance more.

Sorry if this update ruined anyone's playthrough, but let's be honest, it's no fun winning with an OP skill. :)

@faustomartense

Yeah I know what you mean ^_^
Sweet_Brian 21 Oct, 2012 @ 8:33pm
Now we need a tree with a pool of buffs(and debuffs) based on TGS guests the set can be complete.
faustomartense 20 Oct, 2012 @ 6:59pm
@Dr. Molotov {☩} I prefer mods that use icons/skill art that is already in the game, that way it never looks weird, contrary to a lot of mods that tries to use custom artwork but fails.

@:TwoSecond It is a great mod, keep working on it. Maybe Add some debuff or weaknesses. :)
blackspy025 20 Oct, 2012 @ 3:27pm
Now I can be the Entire TGS Podcast... guess who won't do ANYTHING productive for the next few hours?
Mhodecai 20 Oct, 2012 @ 2:03pm
It's a shame that most of the icons are from the game already, but the mod is really fun.
TwoSecond  [author] 20 Oct, 2012 @ 10:25am
The "Add Creamer" does have a few debuffs on the list. Admittedly there are a lot more buffs on the list, but I figured that destroying a random food and random drink was a significant trade for these buffs. Didn't want the sacrifice of food to go unrewarded too often.
theskybeast 20 Oct, 2012 @ 10:07am
just an idea, but shouldn't you add some sort of de-buff? seems a bit OP for a skill tree. besides that, great idea :D
Aldrakir 20 Oct, 2012 @ 8:08am
AWESOME
Sidesnax 20 Oct, 2012 @ 12:23am
You are very welcome. It may be generally a good idea to look at vanilla skill trees and estimate general values, so that the tree doesn't become too overpowered. Good work.
TwoSecond  [author] 19 Oct, 2012 @ 9:37pm
There we go. That should balance the skill a bit more. Thanks for the tip.
TwoSecond  [author] 19 Oct, 2012 @ 9:29pm
Point taken. I'll nerf them a bit in a moment
Sidesnax 19 Oct, 2012 @ 9:15pm
Excellent idea and structure. I do have a couple of points to make though. Dexterity bonus has too high bonuses I feel. Not sure how much they actually rise the dodge and crit chance in percents, but I hope you at least check it out. Maybe you should make them 3 crit chance and 5 dodge chance? Also, maybe it would be better to lower the "Sneaky life fox"'s boosts to half of what it is now, so that it wont be overpowered. I recommend these changes so that it won't break vanilla DOD, while being fun and useful in itself.
