Why is there a thermopylae map for shogun but not for rome 2 on the workshop?

READ THE DESCRIPTION PEOPLE! This is not about the 300 holding off at thermopylae, but rather about their greek allies holding off a persian assault at a mountain pass. This is historically accurate, the greek forces where betrayed and had to defend themselves from 2 sides, instead of holding up all the persians at the chokepoint next to the sea. That's also why the spartans and few others stayed at thermopylae, the other greek forces were ordered to retreat after they had been betrayed and some forces, including the spartans were left behind to buy the retreating forces some time.

Thermopylae was in between mountain and a sea, not two mountains.

I tried that and it works. what i do is bring my general out their and then i run back in when they start moving.

A few times that happens (I cannot edit IA behaviour with the map editor) but if you send some of your units closer they start moving. I hope next time it doesn't happen! ; )

this is a really nice map (; The problem to it is HUGE!!!!!!!! The AI refuses to attack and just camps their. Meaning only way to victory is wait for time to run out.

You have some water on picture number 4. When you play the map you'll see that's actually the Gulf of Malia but I didn't though it was interesting making screenshots of the sea

You could also make a map for the Battle of Britain that used 16th century Japanese ships instead of single-prop fighter planes…
