it crashes the game when used on the crystal isles map, if you want to use crystal isles, there are other mods that do the same thing as this

Loaded mod, did DestroyWildDinos, first itchy I came across CTD. May need some gen2 help. Was on island map BTW.

Great mod! It does exactly what we need it to in order to increase our enjoyment of ARK. We also use Ark Smart Breeding so it would be nice if a manifest file could be made available for this mod pack to be compatible.

Update, I found this mod works for your character when not riding a dino - ichthys cannot steal from your inventory or disarm you. But when you are on a mount, ichthys are able to steal from your inventory. I didn't test whether they could steal weapons from your hands in that situation though.
So the mod is helpful but not completely effective.

I have tested it and it does work. But this mod doesn't affect normal Ichthyornis, it replaces the default ichthyornis blueprint with its own version which responds to the .ini entries. So unless you use the destroywilddinos commands (look in the comments), you'll still have regular Ichthyornis around for awhile.

Pretty sure this mod is broken. Itchy stealing meat even though the ini settings specify no meats.

Crashes my unofficial Dedi server if it's first in the load order. No problem when last, but looks like something isn't quite right in there.

While this is working for us, it seems the birds can now dive underwater and steal from you too.

are my settings and the icthy still steal from me and they are still aggressive

Once i'm attacked from an Ichthy my ACM deactivates and i can no longer use shift + right click. I can replicate this everytime and the only way to fix it is to kill your character.

I'm not receiving any notifications when an item is stolen from my inventory, is this a bug?

@CosmicDan Did you add the INI settings properly? I have it on my server with no problems. Did you destroy all wild dinos after adding it?

Broken on dedicated server. Doesn't do anything. Seems to only work on SP.

Either that or it's not stackable.

Yeah. it's been an ongoing issue for a while. I assume the fix isn't easy as there have been no word on it yet. The aggressiveness is kinda killing this mod. I can't go anywhere without them attacking me on sight. I'd honestly rather have them steal.

Can confirm the same as Njiko, mod is causing Icthyornis to become aggressive instead of timid.

Ok so i can confirm that this Mod somehow makes Ichtyhornis aggressive towards everything especially tames, i reinstalled this mod after having zero issues with them being that aggressive. They attack wild Brontos and just anything in sight but especially tames and players, Ichtyhornis have a 0% chance of stealing according to my settings but one just ate all my meat.

does that mean they will only steal these items out of the inventory?
if i use the default settings it will just steal the meats described in the itemlist?

About the itemID, I chose the item name so that its possible to add mod items.

When putting items in the item list, does it use the in-game name (as shown when you have item names turned on), or does it use the blueprint name, or something else?
For example, does this mod use:
Canteen, or Canteen (Full)/Canteen (Empty), or CanteenRefill/CanteenCraftable?

So it seems that the BlockItemList IS actually working. I believe that the problem is that there are a bunch of variations on canteens. I just listed "canteen", but there is a difference between a full canteen, an empty canteen, iced canteen full, iced canteen empty.

Any chance BlockItemList (and possibly the ItemList) could be by item number?

I constantly keep crashing when trying to add it with Ark Server Manager.
I subscribed to it here and tried singleplayer but I also get a FATAL ERROR.

I think the blockitemlist isn't working. I did that a while back, but they kept stealing my canteen and GPS (I think they must taste really good or something). After reading the comments, today I ran DestroyWildDinos. I worked. Wipe. After everything respawned, I was flying around to see what new dinos were on the beach. Ichthy attacked. "Removed: 1x Canteen"

@everbane Yes, only stealing meat would prevent taming, I bought that up a while back and the mod dev acknowledged it and left a solution in the description

"NOTE: If you want the Pego to be still tameable, be sure that you set the "PegoStealFromHotbar" to true and add Mejoberry to the steal list with a steal chance that is higher than 0."

Aren't Pegos Vegetarians in Vanilla? Wouldnt allowing them to only steal meat prevent taming, or are the ones in this mod carnivorous?

Yeah, I think it might not be the map, but more of mod incompatibility. I haven't looked at Ark: Eternal too much, but it it modifies the same files that this mod does, then there will be some issues.

I think my problem was Ark Eternal.

@MagiKilla96792 I tried both DestroyWildDinos and the DestroyAllEnemies command and using the config in the comments, could it be the map?

@NunSuperior did you try the "DestroyWildDinos" command? Can I see your ini settings please?

I also took a look at the Ark: Eternal mod. I cant say for sure but seeing as it is a massive overhaul mod it might not be compatible with this one. The more a mod changes, the less likely it will play nice with other mods.

Did you guys make sure to cheat destroywilddinos? if you don't destroy the wild dinos they will still have the old settings and the mod will only be applied to dinos that have spawned after they were put in.

Problem for me it steals high end mod items, doing more testing.

I tried the mod with Captain_Pansy's settings list and added other basics like flint, strone, fiber... Ichthy's stole these items but also stole eggs, specifically Dilo and Lystro eggs.

Im sure the mod is really good but i still can not get it to work with ark eternal, any suggestions.
