cool concept if you still make updates to this maybe also make it so the locked items cant be deleted or used in crafting

I can see the usefulness of this from having to resist the urge to auto organize your backpack but your custom placed items will change spots. But it seems a bit too much in my opinion. Smart idea though! :Rabbit_Plush:

i dont think we need this
Diokat 17 Oct, 2019 @ 5:35pm
you might as well get this banned, valve doesnt accept game changes in the workshop.

"LOCKDOWN", which is my only workshop creation, suddenly reappeared after 7 years. Valve admitted to mistakenly banning it 7 years ago. Valve was nice enough to restore it so I can list it in my workshop items on my profile . LOCKDOWN would best benefit people with a large inventories. Check the item description for details. Of course, only really talented and highly intelligent gamers will be able to understand the genius of my idea, which I am sure includes YOU! So please give me a thumbs up on my old idea and I might even come up with another genius brainstorm before another 7 years passes by. Thank you. God bless. Bird Of PrAy :bird::GoldCross:

This shouldn't be an item, just a backpack funtion
mariogeek2 16 Oct, 2019 @ 12:16pm
Lol why in the world is this now showing up at the top of relevant? It's from 2012!
SharkChew 16 Oct, 2019 @ 9:13am
I would be better if i worked like - Locked item cannot be traded and if a lockdown is taken off it would remain locked for 14 more days, just to make it as a double "foock you" to scammers and other stuff

The workshop is for Cosmetics, warpaint's, particle effects, and weapons to actually be implemented into a game, not just an idea for Valve to create

I wanted it to be free at first, but I was told it had to be an "item" to be able to submit it. This would be useful tool like a gift wrap or backpack expander. I actually had two additional features to add, but Valve "banned" me before aI got a chance to show it all.
A Sheepish Shepherd 13 Oct, 2012 @ 5:36am
Yeah its an epic idea and I would DEFINITELY use it, but I shouldn't have to pay for it.
Coyote West 13 Oct, 2012 @ 5:25am
I like the idea, but this seems more like something that should be included for free rather than bought. Or at least given to pay to play players for free.
sebik 13 Oct, 2012 @ 5:06am
It is really brilliant idea. This feature would help traders a lot, however I am afraid that almost noone would pay for that. I am for provided that it will be just a free tool for backpack sorting.
Mahogany Desk - €499 13 Oct, 2012 @ 4:45am
I wouldn't PAY for this shit! If it was free, then it's a cool idea.

Good Idea

Thats awesome!
Bird Of PrAy [toj.cc]  [author] 13 Oct, 2012 @ 2:25am
I first posted this as an idea, but have since changed the text to an item which would be applied as a tool. This should therefore qualify as an item and also something Valve could sell to make a fortune on. i would personally buy it if were the same price as a backpack expander!
Velsix 13 Oct, 2012 @ 2:09am
Maby someone will use thisas inspiration and make the real thing.
