Okay tried some of those suggestions. Light warp may have made it a little more glossy, but I'll fiddle with that.

It is really challenging to make good looking TF2 style bone, but the right amount of AO, texture detail and just the right tone should do the trick. Using a different lightwarp might help, I dunno. Phong is probably not what's causing the washed out-ness. That's quite a lot of wasted UV space by the way.

@seclusion I've been unable to tone down the shine from phong without removing it completely.

Texture is washed out and modeling on the strap is rough. Skull looks okay though.

I agree with Wolf .And could you make a mask version of the item ? It would so awsome if it was a mask !

This is sexy, would be even better to have two-three styles and maybe even multi class. (Just my opinion, but looking good.)
