Just a small change today. Working hard on the expansion.

Quarterback Dik
- (10+) Tackle: Has been changed to a 5+ roll and now does 2D6 Shared Damage

Gordon Freeman Dik
- Armour points reduced from 25 to 15

Plague Dik:
- (20)Poison Enemy: Lasts for 3 turns.

Robot Dik:
-(20)Dance: Stun effect ends when Robot is killed.

Suicide Dik:
-Health removed and now requires a roll of 10 or higher to kill.

New turn added.
After you've been dealt your hand there's a round where you can discard cards you don't want and redraw until you have the required amount of cards.

New Rule for 1v1 players.
You're only allowed one 5 star card in your starting hand.

Fixes:
- various hidden character cards should show the correct graphic.

Work on the first expansion has begun.

As I mentioned last week there were going to be some changes related to some characters with stun lock abilities.

Characters:

Astronaut Dik
- Gained a 15+ attack for 2D6 'Launch'

ET Dik
- Communicate changed to 15+

Flo Dik
- Charm now lasts for 2 turns. If Flo dies the effect ends.
- 20+ changed to give 15 health instead of 10.

Zombie Dik
- Claw changed to 5+
- Added 15+ roll 'Grab' target can't attack for one turn.
- Bite (20) changed to 2D6 initial damage followed by 1D6 damage over 3 turns.
- Requires a 10 or higher to kill. Defence cards won't affect this.

Ghost Dik
- Haunt changed to 15+ and lasts 1D6 turns, if ghost dies this effect wears off.
- Requires a 10 or higher to kill. Defence cards won't affect this.

Rabid Dik
- Bite(20) Bites and infects the target for 3D6. Target takes 1D6 over 3 turns if target dies from infection player gets another Rabid Dik added to his hand.

Ninja Dik
- Shurikens (5+) changed to 2D6 shared damage
- Sleepdart (15+) puts target to sleep for 1D6 turns, effect wears off if target is attacked. Can't hit more than 1 target.
- Poison Shuriken (20) target is hit for 3D6 damage then takes 1D6 poison damage for 5 turns unless healed.

New Rule added.
If you're unable to do your attack (you already have a stunned target or you can't heal your teammate due to full health) You can roll 1D6 attack.


This should get rid of the stunlock abuse. Ghost and Zombies defence nerf was needed as they became too strong requiring higher rolls to kill. Ninja was very underpowered and had a very lackluster set. This should hopefully bring him back up to 4 star standard.

The new rule was added so that players wouldn't feel like they were wasting their turns due to being unable to heal a fully healed unit or you're unable to stun another target. Giving these units an option to attack should make them feel less useless.

We're finally out of BETA!

Final changelog.

- fixed various text issues with multiple cards
- altered the rule book to reflect the current deck

What's next for Battle Diks?

We have been wanting to add in more cards and items into the game as free expansions. A physical version of the game is also currently being looked at. All of this depends on expression of interest, if there's alot of people that want it, it'll be something we'll add.

We hope you enjoy playing Battle Diks just as we have enjoyed making it for you.
