Version 1.2: Split tech tree is now designed specifically for use with WhatIsSol's Unofficial Code Patch and the 5X UCP Compatibility Mod, and I've added these items to the list of required mods. If you don't use UCP and the compatibility mod, the bugs you'll see are only minor, so it's not a huge deal if you don't use those. You should load the mods in the following order:

  • 5X
  • UCP
  • 5XCPC
  • Split Tech Tree
  • All other mods*
*If you're using Diverse Specials and Massive Planets, be sure to load it between UCP and 5XCPC. Also you should use the Lite B or Zero version.

Version 1.1: The only change is to add the hyper advanced rifle upgrades added in the last 5X update.

  • Updated for compatibility with latest 5X version
  • Many bug fixes
  • Techs moved around
  • Missing techs added
  • Two new starting ages that will also appear in the next 5X update. One gives you all the fields techs up to multistate insulator to start (plus some other techs from other branches as well); this age is meant to provide some interesting play on spiral and cluster galaxies since you're able to explore everything from the start but everything is still bottlenecked through unstable lanes. The other gives you all the construction techs up to microlite construction (plus some other techs) but some branches are left at the post warp level. These two ages are basically alternatives to the Lopsided starting age.

This quick succession of updates was because the modding system was bugging out and replacing this mod when I was trying to upload a new mod. I had to re-upload this mod multiple times.
