- Added the "Make America Great Again" hat to Playset 2

Today's update is focused on COMMUNITY FEEDBACK. With Homestuck over I'm finally done being (home)stuck-up about keeping the map "canonically accurate. I decided to implement some features that have been heavily requetsed. as well as adding in some small details from the more recent updates. At long last, here you are:


- added empty rooms for the unused 6 troll transportalizers. Decorate them as you wish! Eridan's and Feferi's contain water.
- added The Gay Shoe™
- added the Dick Hopscotch

- new regular and red floor textures to be fully crisp, fully tileable, and larger
- new ceiling texture to ensure absolute blapckness
- tweaked various textures and decals


I don't have plans for anymore expansions to the map, but there will still probably be minor tweaks based on feedback. There are much more ambitious newer projects on the horizon. 2017 will be the year I finally put my foot through the door of self-employment and I hope you'll follow/me [skyplayer37.tumblr.com] as I head down that road.

- Updated Credits to be up to date on Personal ® Branding™

- Textures are no longer included in the addon, only packed into the map. The workshop estimate has dropped about 25mb in size ( about 68mb => 43mb ). Sounds are still included, I will test packing those soon.

- Changed the roof texture. It's no longer a counter-strike texture, however the new one has some odd reflective pixels. Kinda helps you keep your bearings, but I'll revert this if requested.

- Atted a knew ester ehg

Thanks for Playing!

Homestuck...has ended. And with it goes a large portion of my life...three years in fact. For some, it was much more than that. I can't say for certain how much longer Homestuck will stand as my main artistic inspiration, but for now I am simply finishing the things I started. If all goes well there will be another upd8 to this on 6/12, since I still have some ideas. And no, adding non-canical rooms to the map is not one of them, maybe in another version or addon, but this map will stay true to Andrew Hussie's design in its basic layout.

There's a pretty cool new easter egg though.

- Map now supports HDR lighting

Equius Path:
- Increased height of ceiling above murder room to allow for the highblood to take his rightful place

Bar:
- Adjusted stair textures
- Optimized bar topology
- Updated Phonograph Egg (Increased Volume and Trigger Radius)

??? Room :
- Completely changed out the Secret Room to be a much more widely understood refrance

We're Out of Beta, We're Releasing on Time!

Okay, well technically I wanted to release it on 4/13, but 6/12 is still a rather nice date in the Homestuck-verse. I updated the main page with a description to match the final build! In fact, it's better than whatever I could re-iterate here in this sub-section, so I'll keep this short and just get to the patchnotes.

-Added a bunch of new props
-Added Transportalizers from the Flash that were previously absent
-ArtPass around most of the map
-Added an Easter Egg to the previously empty secret room in Karkat's Path
-Most of the stairs are now much more smooth to walk on (8^y)
-HEAVY Optimization fixes

Thanks for the support from everyone on this 6 month journey from "Wait how do I turn the camera?" to "The map is complete!". I look forward to showing you all my future projects :)

Happy April Fools!

Don't worry, this isn't a goof update where I change every texture to Nic Cage or anything like that (I swear, this upd8 ONLY contains no more, no less, THAN 15 NIC CAGE TEXTURES , so there's nothing to worry about). In fact this is less of an April Fools Upd8 and more of an Easter Upd8! I'll be gone this weekend for Wondercon (conventon in Anehiem, CA) so you all get to do your Egg hunting early! This upd8 contains a bunch of fun easter eggs to hunt for! Not the chicken kind you dye colors or hide around your house until they rot (who am i kidding this is the generation of plastic eggs!), this is the kind that ends with you finding Nic Cage or Gamzee or Vriska's...well I shouldn't spoil the fun! Here's the notes, with some hints for the eggs:

EASTER EGGS
-Added Secret Room to Vriska's First Room!!!!!!!! (eighteighteighteighteighteighteighteight)
-Added Music to the Trickster Room! (you may have to Phone your Crew for this one) (im sorry, that hint was so cheesy I cringed while writing it)
-Added Secret to Vriska's Second Room!!!!!!!! (Vriska kissed Nic Cage on the cheek eight times. EIGHT TIMES. And that is terrible.)
-I...I think heard a HONK! (Blame Steam User: Sandvich1015's comment for this idea)
-Added a little surprise near the Trickster Room ;o) (I should probably say jump scare warning on this one?)
-Fixed Door to Secret Room in Karkat's Path (Just a fun room, no Egg....yet!)

-Began Artpass of Terezi's Path (Second Room) (Also lots of Optimization here)

-Moved the entire Roof area to avoid issues with ambient_generic
-Added Doors! (An exciting new gameplay feature!)
-Added moveable machines to hide Nepeta's embarrassing OTP from her friends
-Fixed Lighting issue causing Tavros' logo to appear yellow
-Fixed Leaking in Terezi's Path (Second Room) and the Path Selection Room, so they no longer need to be hiding in a big box
-Added movement and color to Zodiac signs that are above usable Transportalizers
-Removed unused textures
-Minor Lighting Tweaks
-Even more texture clean-up (Wow I am really messy when I make things)
-Re-added Map Icon (thanks to Steam User: TypicalRookie)


I guess I should have mentioned before that this is also a HUGE artpass upd8. Get ready to have your mind blown by STUNNING NEW VISUALS! Like...um....DOORS! Yeah, doors. Awesome.

Seek the HighB100d Expansion Pack

Do....do.. you hear that? I think it wa---HONK :o)

The map now includes the full layout of Seek the Highbl100d [www.mspaintadventures.com]! Have fun re-enacting the deaths of your favorite characters!

Notes:
Seek the Highb100d Expansion Pack!

-Added all locations from the Flash "Seek The Highb100d" (Enter through Equius' or Nepeta's Transportalizer)
-Added new decals and materials
-Minor texture and lighting clean-up all throughout map
-Minor adjustments to 3D Skybox

Oh and since the new Gmod update was released I have been unable to add an icon for the map. I am looking into the issue.

3/9 ArtPass Upd8 #1
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. Hello again everyone! I didn't see you before, but now I can due to all these LIGHTS. That's right: the map is VISIBLE now! And I've put in quite a few more custom textures, custom decals and fixed the place up. Take a look at his beauty!
I have slaved months over this. Pounding keys and placing brushes until the sun came out. Completing rooms in a limited time frame using only Hammer. Fighting through the BFL disappearance using advanced tight hacks and workarounds only to be thanked by this?!? Do you not see my improvement?! Simply look back at the first release of the map, then at this. That is the improvement in 3 DAYS. At this rate I will become UNSTOPPABLE. I shall surpass VALVE ITSELF using my own HAMMER and TEXTURES. "Who's this GabeN kid? Oh Valve you say? I only play Homestuck maps, Becomeimp's my man! That is what you shall be hearing by the time my work is complete![mspfanventures.com]
Anyway, have fun kids. Here's the notes:

Updated Map:
-Additional Artpass to nearly every room
-Adjusted most lighting to improve visibility
-New custom textures and decals
-Added Geometry to 3D Skybox
-A lot of behind-the-scenes texture and brush clean-up
-theres seriously a ton of stuff like wow its hard to list it all

I'll update the images in the Workshop as soon as this annoying "Homestuck Playset 2 is creating errors!" gets off my screen.

Just a few things that needed to be patched quickly. Thanks for the feedback!

Updated Map:
-added trigger_hurt below roof area to ensure death
-moved computers closer to the edge of the desk for easier use
-raised floor in spawn so the computers are more reachable for shorter characters
-added more lighting to the spawn and first room. the lighting will be adjusted for the rest of the rooms as I Artpass them
Updated Props:
-Zodiac Signs texture can now be changed
-Zodiac Signs now have collision
