Horizontal alignment is no longer tied to the canvas center but to the same threshold that controls the vertical alignment.
Difference is that the vertical one can be negative to allow for ultrawide screens while this will cap the threshold to 90% the canvasSize.y.

Minor other changes to logic.

Added in-line comments explaining whatever I felt needed explaining.
