Update: 9 Oct @ 8:00pm

Patch Notes for 1.1.4:

- Alert Stance: Block gain reduced from 8 > 11 to 6 > 9. I initially thought that I would turn this into a reprint of Hermit's Coalescence, but I realized that Alert Stance has the unique effect of being worse with Runic Pyramid, and Coalescence is already a card that feels underwhelming. Over-retainment is an intended weakness of Robin, and this card's effect enables that trait.
- Even/Odd Rhythm: Block gain reduced from 12 > 16 to 11 > 14. I didn't realize that this card is effectively a boosted reprint of Watcher's Protect until recently, so I reduced EO's Block to make up for the fact that it adds a Curse to the hand.
- Flash Sparrow: Now displays a gold border if it is weapon-strong against any enemy.
- Cutting Gale: Can no longer randomly exhume the card Exhume. This follows the logic that Exhume follows, so the logic is not unexpected.
- Speedwing: Now lets you select a weapon type to equip after playing the first card each combat. This allows for the user to always view the enemy's weapon type clearly before choosing one to equip.

- All enemies from Spire Biomes now have functioning weapon types. No enemies here are designed to use the Neutral type--if any of them do, please reach out to me immediately.
- Neow (Final Boss) in the Downfall route now uses Fire for its single-hit attack, and Wind for its multi-hit attack.

Patch Notes for 1.1.3

This update adds new visual effects for every attack, removes excessive noise from powers, and adds a weapon-triangle chart to the top menu while using the character.

- ALL attack cards, as well as several Skills and Powers, feature new visual effects that don't use generic AttackEffects. No longer will an attack's custom sound overlap with the vanilla sound when dealing damage.
- Most powers for the Tactician no longer overlap their custom sound effect with the generic "Power Gain" sound. Gaining Deflect now has its own SFX.
- Weapon powers no longer create the generic "Power Gain" sound, so as to greatly reduce the sound clutter when using this character.
- Added a weapon-type chart to the top-right of the HUD. Click on the icon to make the diagram appear, and click on it again on any screen to remove it. It also displays while hovered over.

- Council of Ghosts gains a unique choice while using the Tactician: Gain 10 / 7 Max HP as well as a Blue Candle. This provides additional access to the Blue Candle for those who want it without making it an obligatory choice after defeating a tough elite.
- Slime Boss and Large Slimes no longer change their weapon in an unexpected manner.

- Frozen Lance: Damage reduced to 7.
- Swift Strikes: Damage reduced to 8 > 11; Block increased to 6 > 8.
- Hunter's Volley: Upgrade damage increased to 14.
- Bolganone: Damage increased to 12 > 14. Upgraded Deflect gain increased to 5 (effective +3 if weapon-strong).
- Thoron: Damage reduced to 9 > 12.
- Goetia: Damage reduced to 8 > 11.
- Part of the Plan: Buffed. If unupgraded, "Exhaust 2 cards" is no longer random. If upgraded, it is now "Exhaust up to 3 cards."

Patch Notes for 1.1.2:

The main goal of this patch is to add customization options that aren't integrated into BasicMod by default.

- Secret Book / Book of Naga: Nerfed to activate on Turn 2 of combat. I promise that this is the last major change to Robin's starting kit--I had to tone down his strength over time to make sure he can still win runs and be fun to use.

- Dying Blaze: Damage reduced to 3>5.

- Mod page features an option to enable the relics Seraph Robe, Dracoshield, Energy Drop, and Killing Edge for non-Robin characters. This applies at the start of each run, and does not require a title restart. Enabled by default.

- Mod page features an option to enable patches that distinguish the Lose Strength and Lose Dexterity powers for non-Robin characters. This applies immediately. Enabled by default.

- Robin's character sprite has been flipped, per the request from feedback. Though this alters with his weapon handedness, it is more important that each character faces the enemies which they fight.

- When a Strike or Defend is right-clicked during combat, it will transfer its BaseMod card properties to the other card, such as EtherealMod. This does NOT transfer Energy costs; I cannot make this account for Quick Burn / Corruption, Confusion, and Madness all at the same time. One of these have to give, so I'm leaving the transformed card's cost at its default of 1 for now.

- The Downfall Merchant, when encountered on a Shop floor, now uses Thunder for its 5-hit attack.

- A proper ending screen with a sound effect has been added. This takes care of all placeholder art for the character (barring small things such as Energy font).

Patch Notes for 1.1.1
The main goal of this patch is targeted at Robin’s starting deck. Namely, its complexity and its strong power.

- The card known as Veteran is renamed to Tactical Advice, and takes Solidarity's old card art. It is now removed from the starting deck, but is still accessible through the updated Statue Fragment. The card itself has Retain and Exhaust, and still costs 1.

- The card known as Vulnerary is renamed to Veteran, and features new card art. It no longer heals HP (and thus loses the Healing tag), but instead grants 2/3 temp. Strength. If unupgraded, it does not grant temp. Strength if you Exhaust a Curse with this card.

- Solidarity takes the old Veteran's card art.

- Statue Fragment no longer increases Max Hand Size; it now adds a Tactical Advice (the old Veteran) to your hand at the start of combat. This allows for the card to still be accessible early in a run, without either making Robin too strong for Act 1 or too complex for new players.

- Hex and Anathema no longer prevent their debuff if you already have Lose Str/Dex. The tutorial is updated and flavor text removed to reflect this. This change has been made to reduce complexity for new players while also nerfing these cards themselves, even if it indirectly nerfs Smash, Warding Blow, etc.

- Rally Spectrum is buffed to draw 1 card to account for this change.

- Healtouch is nerfed to grant 4>6 Block per Exhausted card to account for this change as well.

- The Vampires? event patch now features a card preview for the Hex and Anathema options.

Update: 8 Sep @ 12:10pm

Patch Notes for 1.1.0:

The main goal of this patch is to reduce Robin's power without altering the flow of gameplay too heavily.

- ALL Attack cards have the Combat Art keyword removed; this keyword has been removed from the character.

- Additionally, the only cards with informative text in the Flavor field are Hex and Anathema... for now.

- Reposition: No longer reduces Deflect if you have negative Dexterity. This wasn't a bug, but the recent nerf to Solidarity and Outdoor Fighter no longer justify this remaining.

- Bolting: Damage reduced to 13 > 18.

- Levin Sword / Flame Lance / Hurricane Axe / Plegian Bow: No longer create cards on Exhaust.

- Pavise / Aegis: Grants 11 > 15 Block once. Costs 1 less if used off-class.

- Even/Odd Rhythm. Always grants 12 > 16 Block, and now Retains.

- Locktouch: Unupgraded no longer exhausts held Status/Curse cards. Upgraded no longer draws a card.

- Gamble: Renamed to Perceptive. Reworked to an Unplayable card which draws 1 card on draw, and lets you select a weapon type on Exhaust. Upgrade makes the card playable for 0 Energy and Exhausts.

- ALL upgraded Rare Attacks (except Astra) deal 13 damage per hit.

- Astra: Upgrade deals 3 damage per hit. Unupgraded, the card Exhausts on use.

- Swift Strikes: Upgrade now grants 6 Block.

- Hunter's Volley: No longer grants 1 Equilibrium if weapon-strong (the card doesn't have enough text space for this).

- Excalibur: Upgrade no longer draws a card next turn. If weapon-strong, increase Max Hand Size by 1 > 3.

- Bolganone: Grants 4 Deflect before multiplying Deflect, but only if you are weapon-strong.

- Goetia: Block reduced to 6 > 8 twice.

- Luna: Reworked to a buff for 2 > 3 turns which triggers the passive effect of your first Orb (similar to Loop) when you play an Attack.

- Seal Atk 4: Gains Ethereal.

- Despoil: Gains the Healing tag, so as to not generate via Dead Branch, Nilry's Codex, Distraction, etc. and won't be randomly selected by Cutting Gale.

Update: 1 Sep @ 3:20pm

Patch Notes for 1.0.6:

- Solidarity: Nerfed to grant 8 > 12 Deflect instead of 9 > 13.

- Outdoor Fighter: Nerfed to grant 4 Deflect instead of 5.

- Tip The Scales: Nerfed to grant 2 > 3 Artifact, but now adds an Anathema to the hand.

- Thoron: Nerfed again; no longer avoids Block nor triggers an Orb if upgraded. Now shuffles a Hex to the draw pile if unupgraded, and adds a Hex to the hand if upgraded.

Update: 29 Aug @ 4:27pm

Patch Notes for 1.0.5:

- Grandmaster Form: Nerfed. it now grants Artifact after the only first card Exhausted each turn. The upgrade now grants 1 Artifact upon use while still removing Ethereal.

- Dying Blaze: The card no longer erroneously states that Exhausted copies don't trigger effects. Exhausted copies always have triggered Exhaust effects since release; this was an old "feature".

- Beguiling Bow: Renamed to Plegian Bow.

- The tutorial includes an additional page to elaborate on the mentality of the character and express the need to think and plan ahead. This applies to more than just the weapon triangle.

- The Mod config page is now set up to let the player enable or disable the tutorial freely. Additionally, the tutorial should now play on the first run of the character regardless of Ascension level. This may cause those who have already played this character to encounter the tutorial once again.

Update: 26 Aug @ 9:58pm

Patch Notes for 1.0.4:

- Ascension 10 should be enabled for Robin by default on any save file that has already acquired all three keys. If you encounter any issues with your current save file since this update, please ping me on Discord immediately.

- Nosferatu and Talisman now utilize the StSLib keyword for Temporary HP, and also have it fully spelled out.

- Robin's Falling event now lets you use Elwind to escape when the card removal choices are displayed, instead of having to guess what the removed cards would be.

Update: 25 Aug @ 11:28am

Patch Notes for 1.0.3:

- Thunder (the card) is reworked to add a Hex to the hand and force a card Exhaust. The upgrade increases the damage from 6 to 8, and lets one Exhaust *up to* 2 cards. Think of this as a more versatile Ball Lightning. This grants multi-use Exhaust access to the starting deck without forcing other Strikes or Defends to be Exhausted, while also easing access to Lightning Orbs.

- Curved Shot no longer exchanges Deflect for Block and Vigor. It instead consumes 4 Deflect to apply 2 Vulnerable just like Thunder used to do. The damage and Block values are unaffected, but the upgrade reduces the Deflect cost to 3.

- Thoron+ no longer removes Barricade. It now triggers the passive ability of the first Orb.

- Gamble's code has been adjusted to process slightly faster.

Update: 23 Aug @ 12:22pm

Patch Notes for 1.0.2:

- The text associated with losing a power ("Power Wears Off") appears much less frequently for weapon powers.

- Expiration now offers a choice to gain a Circlet instead of forcing a Blue Candle on the player. This means that many Expirations can be played without being required to obtain a fragile Blue Candle.

- Blue Candle has been added to the relic filter list. If you want Blue Candle, then add Expiration to your deck.

- Soft Reset and Debug Weapon are no longer visible in the Card Compendium.

- Exhaustive Strike is no longer bugged to force an Exhausted card.
