Fixed some issues, maybe?

Update: 15 Aug @ 9:14am

Some penetration stuff

  • Incorporated some projectile parameter changes from Moodz.
  • LMGs and semi-autos now have their realistic muzzle velocities (same as bolt-actions) for barrier penetration reasons; all full-power small arms will now penetrate a single wooden wall with a good angle.
  • Fixed/tweaked some small stuff

Update: 12 Aug @ 10:08pm

Fixed an oopsie.

Update: 12 Aug @ 10:01pm

British webbings + crafting recipes, and other small stuff

  • Added crafting recipes for British guns
  • Added webbings for British guns (using US webbing models as placeholders, it will change)
  • Added British Battledress uniform (from Moodz)
  • Added stripper clip top-off loading to FG 42, as it apparently had this feature IRL but was missing it
  • Reduced Gewehr 43, SVT-40, AVS-36 and FG-42 webbings to two magazines each, as they can now top-off pretty quickly with stripper clips, which is how the guns were generally used historically.
  • Standardised refill times to the following:
    - Bolt-action, semi-auto, and automatic rifles: 600 -> 900 (this is to work well with the new loading sounds, and because they can now top-off quickly with stripper clips)
    - M1918A2: 650 (I don't know what to do with it. Is it an LMG? Is it an automatic rifle? It's kind of both, so it's in between)
    - LMGs (MG 34, DP-27, Bren): 300 - > 400 (was weird that an MG refilled faster than an SMG)
  • Added variables to some guns adjust the new reloading poses and movement rattling sounds that Moodz added
  • MG 34 actually has proper reload sound effects now (from Moodz)
  • Fixed some small stuff

Update: 11 Aug @ 4:36pm

New British weapons + enabling new features

  • Added variables to enable new features on small arms (top-off loading + clips)
  • Updated descriptions of all guns to include new button presses for things like firemodes and top-off loading
  • New sound effects for loading rifles and automatic rifles
  • New British weapons (no crafting recipes yet, will add soon)
    - Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifle
    - Bren Mk I LMG
    - Sten Mk II SMG
    - Webley Mk VI Revolver
    - Boys Anti-Tank Rifle
    - No. 36 Grenade "Mills Bomb"

Update: 8 Aug @ 9:32am

Small stuff

  • Added US tanker helmet (thank Moodz)
  • Fixed ironsight alignment on MG 34
  • Some other small fixes

Update: 6 Aug @ 9:36am

Improvements, balance changes, plus new hand grenades for testing.

  • Nerfed the new AT grenades to bring them more in-line with other explosives. They were overperforming a little.
  • Expanded the visually removable magazines to all of the new weapons (the original Modern Small Arms guns still need to be done by Xaer)
  • Temporarily added new hand grenades (pending their addition to Modern Small Arms):
    - New M24 Stielhandgranate model (replaces the old Stielhandgranate model)
    - M24 Stielhandgranate with Splitterring fragmentation sleeve
    - New Mk2 fragmentation grenade model (replaces the current Allied frag grenade)
    - Soviet RGD-33 grenade
    - Soviet RGD-33 grenade with fragmentation sleeve
  • Improved hand positioning of AT grenades in first person

Update: 4 Aug @ 3:36pm

Fixed scaling on grenade

Update: 4 Aug @ 2:54pm

New content:

  • Did some optimisation (reducing tris on some LODs, reducing texture sizes)
  • Added new headgear:
    - M43 Feldmütze Feldgrau/Black variants (thanks Moodz)
    - Pilotka Caps Khaki/Brown variants
    - TSh-4 Tanker Helmet
  • Added minimalist Soviet and German rifleman webbings (caps instead of helmets, no grenades)
  • Slightly decreased DP-27 reload time (4.8s -> 4.0s)
  • Added new grenades:
    - M24 "Geballte Ladung" bundle grenade
    - RPG-40 HE anti-tank grenade
    - RPG-43 HEAT anti-tank grenade
    - No. 82 "Gammon Bomb"
  • Added faction grenade scrolls (yes they're part of the faction master scrolls)
  • MG34, FG42, and DP-27 now have visually removable magazines (thanks Moodz). Will be expanding this to the rest of the guns soon. This has some limitations, notably that the magazine will not appear in dropped guns even if loaded, but it's probably better to have the mag appear and disappear as you'd expect when you're holding the gun.
