Converted one of the Orca Unit's rifle into semi-auto rifle. Now they have a semi-auto, auto and a burst rifle. Minor tweaks done to Orca and Mongoose rifles.

Weapon Restriction for Badgers
No longer all Badgers can use all weapons.
  • The Panther units are a CQB/crowd-control group. They will use SMGs and Grenade Launchers.
  • The Portia units are assault units. Assault Rifles are their weapons.
  • The Titan units are long-range support units. They use Marksman Rifles.
Added new weapons to Mongoose units. Minor Tweaks to weapons done.

New Updates
  • Added two variants of a Shotgun. One for Badgers (Panther, Portia, Titan) and one for the locals (Mongoose).
  • Small tweaks with shotguns.
  • Minor changes in doctrines.

I do not like the thing that all squad members aim slower with shotguns than with rifles. So Badgers aim with shotguns as fast as rifles and aim faster than rifles at long ranges because practically you will miss anyway. Apparently the reason is that the bullets spread and one or three bullets that hit is not going to do much damage. The damage is the same as other squads do. Also lesser people play with shotguns. But I still like them. The Kill with shotgun is more satisfying than any other gun. So I decided to tweak it.

The Badgers' shotgun is fed by a 10-round magazine and the locals' ones are not. Badgers shoot faster than locals with shotgun.

Note

A new unit is added to the squad. If your mod got updated, then the new unit may may not appear. Just delete the old squad and create a new one and you'll get them. I'll not be adding any more units and this will not happen again.

  • A new unit added. It'll just have a new gun, armor, helmet and grenade. It costs only half unit space.
  • The new mini grenade does lesser damage and it is fast to throw and detonate.
  • New mod logo added.

Added a new Assault Rifle to the mod. It has a grenade launcher version too.

Minor Tweaks
  • Assault rifles' crit chance is reduced slightly at medium range.
  • Grenade Launcher ammo changed from 6 to 5 (game's default value).

Minor Tweaks
  • The squad is split into 3. This is to conveniently copy-paste a specific layout to a only few members of the squad. Still all squad can use all rifle guns except Agents. For example if you want the first squad to use SMG, second to use Assault Rifle and third to use Snipers, then you can copy-paste layouts easily.
  • New group icons added.
  • Lever-action rate of fire at close range is increased. Ammo changed to 5.45 x 39 mm.
